Image Boss! (no politics, no sexy pics) Have fun. ❤️

Yeah, hot dogs need a little burnt.

Lots of great tasty entries for sure, but for me this time it has to go to maniakman and the Gene & Judes Hot Dogs. That would be high on my list if I ever visited the USA. I like ‘dirty’ foods like this.
Will be making Lightbringers lemon chicken too sometime. Those Taco’s look great too!

Thanks G0OSE!
How about some pictures of human designed things that just can’t be improved upon … no matter how much we try….(i.e. designs that withstood the test of time)…

I have 3 of those in bags up on the shelf.
I remember thinking I could fix a cranky key in the 8088 era.
Man, springs went everywhere. Bet it took me two hours to get it back together.
All the Best,

The perfect keyboard in my mind is mechanical, wireless, backlite, large battery, and dishwasher safe. So far everything except dishwasher safe can be achieved.

Turns out the aluminum cans we have today are pretty close to perfect.

Not very glamorous, but in it’s many different forms a round wheel is I’m pretty sure at the top of it’s game - not because of what it’s made from, or it’s bearings etc - because it’s round and so far as I know that can’t be bettered for travel on relatively flat surfaces.
These carbon fibre ones are apparently some of the most expensive car wheels, or rims - unless you go all silly and start putting gold and gemstones in them!

I like the category, but can't think of anything that fits right now, except the wheel, which G0OSE already posted.

Okay, I cheated a little bit and did a Google search.

Levi jeans are a design that have stood the test of time.

Also, this photo is a little sexy, so I'm breaking all the rules around here!

Nice jeans.

The bicycle.

Hasn’t needed much improvement since pneumatic tires were added. Yes, carbon fibre, derailleur gears and all that is great, but just flashy add-ons to the idea.

How about this one:
From near the end of the production run.
This one was born in 1954.
The model 66 line started out in 1900 as a treadle and then a hand crank. An electric motor was added in 1920 (?).
I picked this up at an auction last weekend for $70. With a box full of thread and accessories I have no idea how to use.
Needed a good cleaning and I had to rewire the wall cord. The original was a bit cracked after 67 years. The speed control needed a rework too. But now it runs like a champ.
All the Best,
Jeff

At least my seat has!
The same auction that I got the sewing machine at, some fancy mountain bikes sold for $2500!! Well used.
There were even some tandem mountain bikes. Which sounds like a serious wreck waiting to happen.

All the Best,
Jeff

Something is not right, I never saw a steak that looked like that. Its not a ribeye or porterhouse, or anything I have ever seen. Must be photo-shopped.

Just bought these:

My favorite game when I was a kid.

It’s real enough. It’s not a normal steak. And it isn’t all that great a cut. Don’t really know what it is.
Went there once, in my younger days I might have been able to do the job. but wasn’t impress with the look of the contest steak.
Current record holder, a lion, got the job done inn 80 seconds.
But the monarch of steak eating is Molly, who downed 3 of them!

This video should confirm to the rest of the world that America is the land of conspicuous consumption!

Many years ago I was in Calf. A buddy of mine and I went to some hole in the wall restaurant.
On Thursdays, they had an all you could eat ribs night. The only people in the place were the two of us, a nice normal looking couple, and 6 huge guys a few table over.
The cost was fairly expensive and I’m sure the restaurant normally came out on top. Not Tonight.
Us and the big guys were having a good time. Once they saw we were keeping up with them it became a matter of pride.
After about 30 ribs each, the staff just gave up and come out to watch. The other diners were appalled.
The big guys were Oakland Raiders, vs two guys form Texas. Three of them eventually outpace me. I was hurting for two days.
I’m sure the NFL was training as usual the next day.
A good time was had by all, except the owners.
All the Best.

Johnsonville Jalapeno Sausage.
Emmmmmm Good.
Must be cooked over a real wood charcoal fire. It’s the law west of the Pecos.
All the Best,
Jeff

I don't like analogue watches for myself, but the design of this type of watch has stood the test of time.
