AAA Mini Maglite Lantern Kit

Been working on a 3D printed Lantern Kit for the AAA Mini Mag. It is surprising how much light these little LED Mags produce.

I found that a Fenix diffuser also fits the Mini Mag rather well.

The one in this photo is this one bought on Amazon several years ago. Amazon Link.

EDIT. Sorry, I see you're talking about an AAA Mini Mag, not an AA Mini Mag (like in my photo).

Looks nice xxo. :+1:

Thanks.

I make these for the AA Mini Mag also, in addition to the D cell Mag, the ML50, ML300 and MX991.

we use the amber, plastic prescription bottles as a diffuser.
place the cap on “top” to mitigate the beam’s intensity.
reasonably replaces a candle during power outages.

In some ways the base/stand that holds the light is more important than the diffuser because it can be used to ceiling bounce the light without the diffuser.

ha, good idea, but my pharmasweticles always come in the green bottles—maybe need to change my Rx provider.

since the bottles are available in multiple colors: amber, clear, green, red, and violet (locally, anyway),
just ask the dispensing pharm tech for your favorite. unless there is some overriding medical protocol
for a particular color (red for veterinary use, for example), usually they will accommodate you.
