Ok , finally put one up . My logo .
Mine is a picture of monument from my home town.
At first there was big bus/tram transfer stop:
Itâs colourful, so got a nickname âunicorns stableâ.
Thereâs city budget dedicated to multiple different ideas and local society can vote which of them will come into realisation.
And Monument of Unicorn won hearts of citizens
Actually, at first it supposed to be family of unicorns, but at the end we have this monument created by Japan artist Tomohiro Inaba.
I really like it, rarely funny and unconventional ideas like this are implemented in my home town.
My avatar is just me playing with a canoe, something I like to do and do a lot.
I will probably change it when I find a better one or one I like better.
Indeed a great place to be
I was there in December 2018, in the first day that snowed
Unicorn monument was not there yet, so you need to visit my town again!
I wish I could :weary: I was there in the kick-off meeting of an international project and the host team is from there.
We were working from the morning till the evening so I didnât have the chance to travel much, but I remembered that station
This was my photo, but it was around 3ÂșC so I didnât keep my hands out of the pocket for long
And Iâm glad you confirmed the unicorn it was not there yet, âcause I didnât remember it and I normally capture those things!
I had one meal close by, and it was great!
Iâm happy that youâve enjoyed the stay at least a little
Last serious winter we had was in 2010/2011 (â20âŠâ25ÂșC in the morning for 3 weeks in a row, 18 days with max. temp. <â10ÂșC), so 3ÂșC doesnât sound that bad
This world is smallâŠI keep fingers crossed for your next kickoff meeting in ĆĂłdĆș
Nice sculpture!
By the way, it's kinda hard to see the unicorn in your avatar.
Simple, three questions, why did you choose your current avatar?
he looks better than me.
What is your avatar?
the boss at our house.
Are you planning on changing your avatar?
not unless he makes me.
I enjoyed, although I only stayed for some days and I could only see it by ânightâ (luckily the streets had all the Christmas lights and some handcraft fairs, so it was very beautiful) I was arriving at Manufaktura when it started snowing so then I returned to the hotel and couldnât see it inside :zipper_mouth_face:
Perhaps next time in another project I can stay longer
Thanks again and enjoy it there
i love your avatar.
how do you set one ?

And Thanks
This necro-thread reminded me I had never uploaded an avatar here.
Mine is a 2009 photo of my 1994 Manitou Three suspension fork on my mountain bike
Iâve been using the portmanteau nick âmanithreeâ online since the mid-90âs because itâs a word I made up, so itâs almost always available. I never have to add digits. After a rebuild in 2016, itâs still an excellent suspension fork.
I have no plans to change it any time soon.
Oops...
I guess I did necro this thread.
I usually mention when I do that, but I didn't even notice this time.
Why are necro threads a big deal?
Why are necro threads a big deal?
In this case, it isnât. Itâs when somebody (usually a new forum member) starts responding to a âwhat to buyâ thread from 10 years ago where the OP hasnât logged in for 5 years that it gets silly.
A lot of forums automatically lock old threads, or actively discourage necro-threading, but not here.
On BLF necroing threads is perfectly ok. And some threads are very suitable for that, like this one or the one where you can put your name on the map: Interest in (Google) Map of BLF Users? .
Nice sculpture!

Yeah, I messed up dimensions and it looks far from perfect, need to update it.

Piotrkowska street, nice pictures, and Julian Tuwim - talented Polish poet, I love some of his golden quotes.
But actually, Iâm not there as well - moved to Prague, as my country slowly drifts towards Belorus kind of âdemocracyâ with approval of quite big part of short seeing society, and I simple canât stand that.
So, if by any chance youâll end up in Czechia and would like to have a beer or two, to know where to find me
Mine is my photoshopped stuff, the ancestor in 2001: A Space Odyssey with a Maglite.
Iâll change it someday but no specific plans.
