Latest release Vapcell 21700 5600mah 12.5A battery

It is sad if the 14500 1000mah 10A is discontinued. That is such an excellent cell. The biggest issue is that besides the FWAA, there really aren’t any flashlights that can take advantage of this beast of a battery. There needs to be more multi emitter 14500 flashlights for this battery sales to take off.

agreed! I am running the epoch 10amp / 1000mah cell in all 10 or so of my 14500 lights, and they are great! I am pretty sure they must be rewrapped vapcell's. And they are fantastic

I got 2 of what I think were H10s (blue or purple?), and visually, there was little to no difference in my GTmicro vs the cheepcheepcheep EBL 14500s. Even 900lm vs 1000lm isn’t that much of a difference except on a meter.

More lights need to be able to use that extra oomf, at least enough to make a difference.

Which 14500 flashlights would take advantage of the H10?

Hi Tim, I have a H10 in Wuben E05, FWAA & GT Micro XP-L (GT Micro NM1 Vapcell 14500 Gold)

Nice hand warmer, how bad was that wind yesterday (Saturday)!

Dennis, with the T50 back, will that price come down? You bumped up the price 50% from $24/pair, in November, to $36/pair. In October, they were $22/pair.

I’m tempted to get the GT Micro :stuck_out_tongue:

Pretty chilly! Jumper + jacket + beanie + mask

lumintop fwaa surely… great battery for that light.

I will second this request, Dennis. I am ready to order (like many people), but the $18 per each is a big hurdle to overcome...

Anything with a fet driver (fet+1, etc) with a low vf led or multiple leds. I have some of those epoch 10A 1000 mAh in my FWAA and it screams, almost 2100 lumens (for a few seconds). I use it in my TG06 with fet dr9ver and its noticeably brighter than with the shockli 5A 14500.

Hello

Recently, due to the shortage of batteries, the price has risen too much. Our purchasing cost is too high, and the freight of overseas small parcels is also relatively expensive. You can try to contact the local wholesalers to purchase, and reduce the freight due to the large quantity

You can also buy a variety of batteries in vapcell store and tell BLF members that they will give you a discount

We hope the cost will come down and the price will return to the previous level

If there is good unit price information, we will update it

Lithium atoms are all the same, so making more good cells is just a complex engineering problem, not an physics problem.

Wait, is there a BLF discount at the Vapcell store? Ali tacks on our hefty 8.625% sales tax as well, out here on Long Island (NY is 4%, Suffolk cty is 4.65%).

You’re lucky we in the UK get taxed 20% which aliexpress take don’t know how the UK government get of that.

Ouch! Just checked US states/cities and looks like quite a few places are at a higher rate than LI, some over 10% - didn't realize that.

There should be a Tom E discount when he’s ordering from AliExpress

I ordered 2x T50 previously because of Tom E’s comments on BLF about it being good. :+1:

My order of Vapcell K64 26650 finally arrived (order date: April 3, 2021 ; arrival date: June 11, 2021 ; a bit over 2 months is still acceptable for batteries considering the hoops they have to go through in the postal system. I have another order of different batteries from a different AliExpress store that is still in limbo... no tracking update for more than 2 months now]

However, the results are not good. Out of 8pcs K64, only 1 piece is above 3.0v (3.77v). 1 piece is around 2.1v.

All the rest 6 pieces are below 1.0v, with the lowest having just 0.14v.

Vapcell K64 arrived voltages:

0.145v,

0.166v,

0.353v,

0.364v,

0.495v,

0.856v,

2.128v,

3.774v <= only this one is above 3.0v, but still need to test if it will self-discharge

Don't waste any more time - they know they are bad and will give you a full refund without issue, least they did that for me.

I am still watching my Vapcell K64 26650. The battery came to me a normal voltage of 3.7V. I charged them several times and used them in a flashlight, the battery still behaves as serviceable. The capacity has not been tested, it takes too much time with my charger.
Are your serviceable Vapcell K64 26650 performing well? Are they still working properly?

I had two, one would not hold a charge. I may still use/try the other but will watch it carefully - I'd say 50/50 chance it won't last too long.
