The authorities told the suspect that they were going to throw a gas bomb into his house and that it would be uninhabitable for three days. They threw it in, it made a very loud noise and he immediately came out of the house.
...
The above happened about half an hour ago.
...
(I presume that he got arrested once he left his house.
I’ve never had that situation happen around here but, that would be a time to turn off all the lights, grab a weapon of your choice, and sit quietly somewhere outside with a good view of your surroundings. I am not very good at playing run and hide.
Eternal looks quite interesting! Dig the suit he wears. Especially that lance/probe thing that shoots out of the suit on the arm area. Hmmm gonna give the game a go. :smiling_imp:
Yep… that is how it works in my parts of the world too. We NEVER take a knife or baseball bat to a gun fight, potential gun fight, or any kind of fight for that matter.
We take a variety of tools with triggers.

Same! We had a dangerous prisoner escape in the county one time. They suspected he came into our more rural area of the TN mountains. They were warning us mountain people to lock cars and doors so he couldn’t find an easy getaway vehicle. :person_facepalming: Well….mountain people don’t lock doors….
I wanted to meet him and give him back to the Sheriff’s Department…but it never worked out… he was eventually caught.
Actually I just remembered that I also experienced a stand-off just not too long ago. Yes I was outside again in the backyard late at night relaxing. Laying in the hammock and soaking in the moon rays.
All of sudden I heard a commotion like some kinda bassy growling noise. It became more intense and it was just coming from over the fence in this wooded walkway/alley kind thing about 50’ away. Looked over the fence and it was a gaze of raccoons and surfeit of skunks! Apparently, skunks and raccoons don’t get along at all. Well they departed they merry way and all’s well that ends well.
