FREEME ✌ LUMINTOP THOR II LEP 500lm 1800m Aluminium/ Titanium Flashlight Group Buy >>> ALIVE!!!

Yeah, they should be. They look to be the same size. About 7mm * 1.5mm * 1.5mm

Flat tops or button batteries?

I can't seem to find the Samsung 35e in stock anywhere reputable.

I want the best batteries possible for this thing, in both 18650 and 18350.

Sweet! Which color?

Most likely, i will make a separate PM for Titanium version.

I suspect Ti discount rate will be slightly lesser than Al. We will know by next week.

You don't need super high discharge 18650 battery for THOR. As for 18350, i am using 2yr old batch of Keeppower IMR18350 1200mAh 10A.

Turbo Glow bars should fit the slots will minimum alteration? Due to the rounded rectangular shape, it is rather tricky to get precise measurements of them. Therefore, i don't dare to recommend trits until someone has tried and confirmed.

Would you send me a Titanium version code when it’s available? Thanks.

I Also use the Keeppower 18350 button top and a Samsung 30Q flat top 18650- both work fine.

Cloggy,

Thanks for the confirmation!

I'll be placing a decent battery order tonight it looks like. Need to see if my chargers can handle the 18350s too... Heh, first light with that style battery so I haven't had any around yet. I'm sure one of my 4-5 chargers will work.

Wow, I didn’t know there was going to be a titanium version. The stonewashed looked awesome. Does the discount code work for it too?

Indeed. All Ti versions are stunning.
I’m very interested in Sandblasted.

Definitely me too

Maybe a silly question but do we know about things like if it's got LVP or do I need protected cells? Battery voltage readout in any way?

I'm looking at getting some unprotected flattop Panasonic NCR18650Bs and maybe a bucketful of the Epoch 18350 1100mAh 9A batteries.

I hope these kinda comments are okay around here. I've been more active in other flashlight communities so I'm still testing the waters here.

Thanks all, and thanks all for making this possible. I'm excited for the day mine shows up to my box! I sure hope there's tracking for the US...

I just reported your post.

Comments like that are not allowed on BLF!

...

Just kidding.

(I see nothing wrong with your post.)

I’m not familiar with the software it’s running, sorry. I just wanted to point out that the Panasonic B came out in 2012. It’s a pretty old chemistry and has been replaced by the Panasonic GA in 2015. The GA is better in several ways such as 10 continuous output while the B is only 5A continuous output. It can also handle higher charging rates plus more cycles. I’d try to get the GA or similar newer cell like LG MJ1 or Samsung 35E, etc…

Interested in a titanium one, thanks!

Interested in Ti.

Ah I figured you were just as friendly of a bunch, hell I know there's a lotta overlap.

I'm just not used to this site layout and whatnot and don't wanna jam up a thread too bad with all my junk questions and harassment.

It has low voltage protection. The manual says it steps down at 3.2V and cuts off completely at 2.8V.

I just ran it on high and after 3 hours it had turned off. Checked the voltage a few minutes later and it was at 3.03V.

I forgot to check the tail cap LEPs though but they’re very low current.

Unprotected cells should be perfectly fine but if you’re leaving it on a shelf for months then unscrew the tail cap.

Can PM me the code for Al and Ti please?
Thank you
