I received my L2k and it compares well against my Astrolux wp2.
I am no techie but L2k throws further. The wp2 starts to darken fairly quickly. The heat after 5 minutes is cooler with L2k.
just for laughs I put LF61 filter diffuser on both lights. L2k is brighter.
I look forward to seeing a comparison with the L2K & L3K just to see if there is much difference if any.
Remove the tail cap and remove the battery minus and body
I shorted it directly with metal, but the light did not turn on
My L2K doesnāt seem to be a bad switch

Really impressive shot there,the color seems more unified than L2K. They make some really neat lights,mine is just incredible in pitch dark,thanks for sharing.
In the city onto building itās great, but on a farm itās quite bad, that would be LEPs in general though.
I tried shinning it on the hill Iām standing on from that house and it was terrible, couldnāt see the hill. It was most certainly reaching, but due to the beam being so thin you just couldnāt identify any surroundings to know where abouts everything was. Even at 1,300m on a closer hill I couldnāt see anything. Tried again with 10x binoculars and still nothing. Pulled out the BLF GT90 and itās lighting up everywhere with ease.
Iāll sell this once Iām done for the reduced reviewers price I purchased everything for.
Fun for in the city, but for me on the farm itās not so much fun.
Vinh tested his first sample of an L3K at only 1.5mcd, while all L2K at around 2.5mcd. 
Iām yet to measure at 20m, but at 9m I got 1.9 mcd
First Jetbeam, now Maxtochā¦great. is this the new trend then? Releasing āupgradedā products which perform worse than their predecessors. Iāll wait for 1lumen review but this isnāt looking good.
Is it possible his has a fault? Does he have the L2K to compare numbers with 1Lumen?

My video review is almost finished, should be up by tomorrow night of the L3K. Itās taken me many, many hours to pull this one off.
If it does not let you see in the dark, itās not a flashlight. It may be something else, but not a flashlight. The LEP is a direct contradiction of light in general. It really has more characteristics of a laser than a flashlight. I think the image presented makes that very clear.
Yesterday evening i was playing a bit with the L2K and WT90.
The L2K throws way farther, but the beam of the WT90 is fantastic! It might not reach 2,5km but the beam is a lot bigger and way more useful as it lights up a lot more with very limited spill
Absolutely, I would never buy an LEP, I just grabbed one for a review and getting a reviewerās discount it was a great opportunity to try an LEP.
Immediately regretted it after seeing just how difficult it was to capture the beam on camera. Flashaholics channel on youtube only uses reflective buildings, but on a farm itās so much more difficult.
Since thereās zero light pollution the camera canāt use auto focus, so I need to do everything manually.
I find building footage quite deceiving for the viewer as itās an entirely different story with real world use
I find beam angles below 3Ā° to be rapidly declining in usefulness, especially for distances <1/2 their max range. Even then, often times a light with less peak intensity but wider spot provides better visibility. Iāve never tried an LEP, but I do have 1mmĀ² Osram aspheric and fresnel throwers that are quite useful for urban environments or areas with light/reflective objects in the foreground. My thinking on this LEP tech is that itās best suited to short focal length optics <40mm Ć. Cd/lm is just too high otherwise. Maybe theyād be great through binoculars?
