Which movie did you watch lastֻ

Just watched Monster Hunter.

Quite entertaining actually.

The Sunset Limited (2011) - a university professor (Tommy Lee Jones) tries to kill himself by throwing himself in front of a train. A man he doesn’t know (Samuel Jackson), who is an ex-convict in a low-paying job, prevents the professor from killing himself, and takes him to his apartment, where he tries to convince the professor, who is an atheist, that faith in God can make life worth living. The conversation between the two men ranges from their past lives, their history of relationships with other people, and the very different environments in which they live, as well as the differences in their views about the universe, faith, and hope. The movie was based on the play by Cormac McCarthy, and was directed by Tommy Lee Jones. This is a great movie that showcases an intelligent script, great acting, and excellent directing, rather than violence, sex and volume.

yes.
Birdemic.
we were looking
for The Birds remake.

next Hitchcock: Marnie.

1. Birds and Bond stars.
2. sort of a “costume drama” since they sure do change clothes often enough.
3. this revised quote sums it up: “No matter how hot she is, someone out there is sick of dealing with her (drama?)….
but there is usually another who is not.”

Same thing. CGIed birds go a-killin’, hilarity ensues.

Marnie looks interesting...

I think I'll eventually watch it.

regarding Hitchcock….here is something we found
involving his (and others) movie title designs:

more:

Triumph (2021)

Inspired by a real story, a determined high school senior strives to be a wrestler one last time despite having cerebral palsy and goes to extreme lengths, crushing obstacles and inspiring others along his journey to prove his abilities.

Nobody

Caught both “Runaway” and “Westworld” last night on MyMovies!.

Pretty much unedited (some bewb-blur, though), which is nice vs the butchered-for-primetime versions.

Awesome flicks…

Kung Fury (2015)

30 minutes of absolute silliness, but those of us who remember 1980s martial arts and police action films will enjoy the nostalgia. Plus cool music by Mitch Murder.

Fatherhood (2021)

Really good movie with Kevin Hart and raising a child as a single dad.

Hjeh, reminds me of “African Kung-Fu Nazis”.

Gotta be better than Iron Sky (2012)
…or the sequels

I must get the entire series…

And I also gotta get S1 of “Schknørglün”, that Acclaimed Foreign Show.

Hahaha…. what?

Pic came out, or no? Weird things from goggle lately, looks fine to me, but…

Starring Sråbøl Pflüger and Wølff Sørensen,
this gritty Danish/German crime drama
follows two detectives who are
investigating a series of murders
in the sleepy hamlet of Ærøskøbing…

“The Jane Austen Book Club” 2007

Yes, but there are no search results for “Schknørglün”. That’s why I thought it was a joke.

Nope, at least not for me anyway.
