If you are buying a Convoy from AliExpress, it is a no-brainer…. use Simon’s Convoy Store.
To use another store on AE would be foolish.
I only shop at Simon’s store.
Just bought another Convoy light! Best store ever. Prices are so fair, I don’t even ask for the BLF discount.

Buy direct from Simon. You’ll get good personal service and quick shipping. With banggood, you’ll get nothing but a headache.
Saving a $1.50 buying through BG is not worth the “cheaper price”
On Banggood, there is always a chance you might end up with bangbad points instead of the light!
On Banggood, we are also literally forced to buy “insurance” for what we have ordered.
But isn’t it the seller’s responsibility to see to it on his part that he promptly sends what we have paid for?
Just don’t understand this unusual business practice on Banggood.
I cannot speak for your country, but here in the USA the “BG Insurance” is optional.

Like you, I think that it is the sellers responsibility to deliver.
I think it is just a “money grab” attempt by BG.
It depends on how you checkout, in some cases the BG insurance is mandatory and can not be disabled. But you can disable it sometimes.
Maybe I’m just lucky. I always “disable” it… every time.

For any Convoy product I would only buy at Simon’s store. It wouldn’t be smart to shop elsewhere, unless you have some fundamental reason not to shop at Simon’s. Every item I ordered was on my desk within a few days. Fascinating.
I like how Simon (or his staff?) pack the emitters in little plastic containers so nothing can happen during transport. I think only Kaidomain are the other ones doing it like this. Shipping was always registered or with DHL intl. very good service for the prices offered to us. I also never ask for our BLF discount. Just buy it.
\My LEDs didn’t have that box. But everything was fine, fast shipping and came in protective foam.
It’s a gamble with BG being they have some lights in anyone of their warehouses. But Simon’s products evolve and some iterations are superseded. Might not get the latest version shopping elsewhere.

Average shipping time from Simon to my place is around 10 days. /w tracking and via DHL, I think. It is the only shop I use for flashlight needs currently.
I only buy from Simon or the LHT flashlight store.
so far all orders came through in a few days only and the quality of the products is as expected.
There is another store in aliexpress (MH-lighting store) that sells convoys flashlights.
- Is this store related to Simon’s convoy lighting store?
- What is BLF member’s experience dealing with/buying from MH?
- Do BLF members still get the discount given by Simon from this store?
