What are you snacking on now?

I used to make something close to these back in my munchie days. Thanks for reminding me, next time English Muffins are 2 for 1 I’’l have to make some.

Hjeh, that’s the only time I buy ’em, when they’re BOGO.

eat ’em raw:

walnuts, almonds, cashews.

Same here, dry, only Sugar Pops. Too many.

Even my pee smells like corn now.

First time in at least 2yrs since I bought cereal, and it’s gone in a coupla days. :expressionless:

regarding elimination: Mini-Wheats keep me “regular”.

Eating little Brillo pads does that.

I haven’t bought an “EM” for a long time. Don’t know why I never thought about EM pies!
So simple it reminds me of frozen waffle PB&Js….mmmm

Gives a new meaning to “the scours”

Mozzarella sticks and salami

I put pepper jack cheese and pepperoni in my quesadillas.

I used to use salami, but I think pepperoni tastes better and is less greasier than salami.

(Also, my favorite brand of salami/pepperoni is Gallo.)

Chili (just Hormel beef’n’beans; ain’t about to make it from scratch), a freakishly large minced jalapeno (literally bigger’n my MH20), and a good long squirt of Sriracha, topped with sour cream.

Waiting for the fire to go out before I finish what’s in the pan.

There will be more fire.

Absolutely. Not uncommon to end up a human-jetpack the next day or so.

Damn, that was good, though. Well worth it.

Tropical trail mix with a handful of unsalted mixed nuts thrown in to cut the sweetness of the pineapple and papaya tidbits.

Chili does not have beans!
And a slow cooker is your best friend.
It’s always better after few days in the fridge.

There is a new gelato joint. They have lots of trendy flavors.
But the dark chocolate with salted caramel is stellar. Just finished a bowl.
All the Best,
Jeff

My wife’s folks are fromTexas. They say the same thing. We went out to visit years back. They fixed chili for this old fat man. It was delicious and said the same about the cooker. Made home made tortillas too. I just about hurt myself eating them. Man the tamales they cooked in a big steam pot were unreal too.

Unno, mine does. Odd, eh?

Hungry now. “Slow” does not compute.

Ugh. Salted caramel anything is an abomination unto the LORD. (1 Cardassians 33)

Some brewery actually made SC b33r. :confounded:

Tasted quite a few good ones they had, and got to the SC. Took a sip, paused, spat it back into the cup, and just said “It is offensive”, staring at the cup and its vile contents.

Asked for another “sample” of a different b33r just to get the taste out of my mouth.

Had SC ice-cream bars once (got it for free with one of those Free-Day Stop’n’Shop digipons).

Choked it down anyway ’cause it was the only ice-cream I had, but never ever ever again.

Too hot to cook (much), so just broke open a pack o’ hot-dorgs. (Slit one end and only take what’s needed, as needed.)

Tired of the usual (katchup, mustard, relish), so figured I got onions to burn (vidalia), might as well try making some cart-style onions.

1 onion, rough-chop, into a small frying pan in oil with salt. Hate hate hate the stank of any kind of vinegar, but guess it needed some “tang” so dribbled a little bit into the pan, figure the stank would boil off but leave the taste. Seemed to.

Tomato paste, about half a can, needs water so just a sploosh into the pan as well, stir angrily. Taste. Hmm, a little sugar to counter the vinegar and paste. Bit boring, a smidge of red pepper flakes. Cook down ’til the sauce is rather thick.

No “recipe”, just winged it. Came out pretty good, actually. I’m surprised.

Hot-dorgs are about boiled, so gonna dig in now…
