Is there anybody out there that may have knowledge on information about future Nitecore releases/lights they might be working on and if so, any timelines as well to go along with it? I’ve searched the web but haven’t been able to find any info anywhere, Nitecore seems to keep everything very hush hush.
If there’s anybody out there with leaks/information about say, a new P12GT they might be working on for example or a TM39GT they might be working on, it would be greatly appreciated if you shared it here
Ever since the P12GT, there hasn’t been a successor to it that has improved upon, or even matched the overall design and performance of this flashlight, at least in my opinion. It’s a discontinued light and mine is currently broken, and although you can find one online on Amazon and possibly other places I haven’t checked, it’d be nicer if Nitecore came out with a more modern version of it. I didn’t like all the iterations of it that came after. I recently got an MH10S which comes close to it in terms of size, specs and performance, but it lacks the tail-cap switch so it’s a bit slower/clumsier, and the beam isn’t as tight so it doesn’t have as much throw as the GT had (320 meters at 1000 lumens). Sure it has more output on turbo (1800 lumens), and I do like the light, but I’m not in love with it as I am with the P12GT. I’ve already contacted Nitecore about getting it checked and repaired but have yet to receive a response.
Anyway, I’ve really been eyeing out the TM39 lately. It looks freaking AMAZING aesthetically speaking, as well as ticking all the other boxes for me, and it would be my first BIG light, as currently, my biggest light is the Nitecore TM26GT (yes, I really love Nitecore’s gear, they’re my favorite flashlight manufacturer). It’s been out for quite a while though, since 2020, so I’m thinking they might either be releasing a GT version of it later this year or next year, or be working on something new altogether, I don’t know. They’ve done GT versions of lights many times in the past, and those always end up being more to my liking because they focus more on throw/sustainability at the highest mode than raw lumen ratings and massive flood/spill. I’d hate to get a TM39 only to have them release a GT version of it some months or a year later for me to drool over. So if anybody has any info, here’s the place to discuss it!
Feel free to discuss any other Nitecore related stuff in this thread as well, like sharing your collection and/or your experience with their lights and what you think about em, etc. I’ll drop in a pic of my current light collection while I’m at it (with some left out because they didn’t fit the picture well)
Note: The P12GT currently doesn’t work (and hasn’t for a few yrs) I could never get in contact with the Amazon seller as hard as I tried so I just threw it in storage and forgot about it until the warranty period ran out. Now I’m “back in the game” so to speak and I want it fixed so I sent an e-mail to Nitecore about it, as well as the EC4S which was already repaired once (and the process took around a year), and that was through an e-bay seller. The light once again quit functioning but this time I decided to contact Nitecore directly in hopes that I’ll have a different experience this time around. We’ll see, been a few days since the e-mail, hopefully they respond soon.
