[Review] ANENG V05B Digital Multimeter /w bluetooth & data logging

These are the most common fuses for China multimeters, I think. they fit most of the models I own, aboutg 3.6mm.

Thanks a bunch, I’ll check these out. I just opened my DMM up and put calibres on the little fuse. I blew the 10A/250v it also has the 600mA/250v. Anyway the measurements were roughly 3.6mm diameter and 10.6mm length. But given they have a little solder blob on each end the actual fuse housing is likely 10mm or 1cm. I’m going to check those you listed, they ‘look’ the same, fingers crossed!! That’s a really big help to me I gave up trying to find them, ordered some that were too big. I was mainly looking on eBay which I think was the problem.

They are EXACTLY what I needed, you have no idea how thankful I am. Dang forums are good. The AliExpress link was in French but I bought them in any case I got 10x10A & 10x600mA for like $5 delivered so I can continue to stick the MM probes into PowerPoints and smoke things up till my heart’s content! Now my MM will be back to being AC/DC instead of just DC. I’m so happy!

My Aliexpress always comes up in Hebrew or Russian. No clue how a huge company like this can’t store cookies like anyone else with language settings…

Glad the links helped you out. I also just bought another pack, who knows whether these will be available in the future. You can never have too many multimeter fuses!

Thanks for the detailed review, this is the perfect dmm for me. was looking for something like this and a mobile R/C tool box or the glove box in my truck. this one is small and lightweight. thanks.

I think a lot of these DMM’s have similar guts and come from the same factory despite looking physically very different with UI configurations. Mine is a NK-tech brand but I know it’s a rebadged UNI-T. They make great price range meter, I got a uni-T clamp Meyer, sound meter, thermocouple digital thermometer. I even bought an new exact same DMM as a spare as I could’nt find them fuses. I spent more on better leads/probes and alligator clips than the DMM itself which was like $14!

Just received the meter. It is much better than expected, all functions as described.

The only thing I couldn’t figure out is remote management. you can share the measurement live with someone in another location or even geography if both are signed up on the app. You need an account and I haven’t properly tested that yet.
other than that this is a great DMM.

Remote management works with the account, you can sign up on the app.
A really good multi-meter and app!

I was about to build a logging tool with Arduino, but the cost and effort would have been way higher compared to this DMM. The quality is not comparable to a Fluke, but very high for this price point.

thanks, it really is that easy. first I tapped multiple times, but once is enough at the end. the CSV file can be imported into Excel without problems for me.

You are welcome. I thought I’d share what I use and I know how hard finding the right part can be. All of my DMMs use the same fuse type, I think all budget meters are from similar sources. Like someone said above.

Detailed review, have ordered one to test the log stuff. have a few li ion cells I can now chart.

How long do the batteries last when you guys to longer measurements?
like discharging curves or similar? Any type of brand or battery model I should use?

Finally received it - batteries last a long time for me. I use IKEA Ladda AAA cells.
The stand is also a working design, unlike the other cheap DMMs where the stand folds back or breaks off.
So far I think this is a good device, can only recommend it.
It is a small multi-meter, so if a large one is required, then this one wouldn’t be it.

Same. I was looking for these fuses for a very long time. my AE search didn’t turn out the links above. thanks. these fit all the cheap dmms I have running atm and even other stuff going forward.

Good model, thanks for the review. Good for flashlights.

Also ordered the fuses, you never know when you will need them in an emergency.

I designed a Arduino logger and it wasn’t very accurate. This dmm should work as I wanted the Arduino to.

They last weeks, maybe even months, not sure.
Have been using the DMM daily and the batteries are still fully charged.

How does remote management work? Anybody got it working?
where do I sign up for the account? on the app itself or elsewhere?

you can enable this within the app, there is a link to the sign up form.

4 weeks so far and still charged
