These pencil carvings put things into perspective.

Sadly I can’t post the image I want to, as Getty have it copyrighted, but if you visit Here you can view it, tried really hard to find a non Getty one, but failed. Can you post images on here with ‘Getty images’ on? if it’s ok I will, unsure lol! don’t want to get sb in hot water!
Hoping RC might be able to find one, he’s good at that sort of thing. :+1:
‘Model engineer Jack Snary displays a miniature model of a Red Arrows aircraft flypast’

@G0OSE:

A lot of images in this thread are copyrighted.

I don't think it makes a difference if it's Getty or not.

It's not like we're using these images to make a profit.

What? No… you gotta give it to someone who actually posted a pic.

Besides, he ain’t a miniature model/scuplture/whatever.

What happened to CRC (his posts apparently disappeared) ?

Moving on, and if no one else is either picking a winner or going to pick a new topic…. I will
Like CRC’s comments… show me images of things that have vanished! :+1: This can be old towns, lost civilizations- anything that has vanished.

What if I post a pic of a toilet, after flushing?

You know…… the stuff vanished.

Flight MH370

Road leading into Centralia, Pa., an abandoned coal mining town over an underground coal fire.

Well thanks the 2 who replied, maybe not the best choice of topic………, maniakman it’s over to you!

Alright, how about some pictures of your favorite (music) album cover growing up?

I “wore out” that tape (and my brain) listening to it almost every day on my Walkperson that I had to put it away for years as to not “get sick of hearing it”. Talk about conflicted…

Seeing Rush at 14 yrs old was unreal (Opening Act) —In New Orleans the venue was an old warehouse on the river

What more can I say…?

The first band I really got into, and collected their albums, was Metallica.

The big break for vocalist David Coverdale, who later went on to sing for Whitesnake.

After Metallica, I got into alternative music.

Here's a censored album cover for Nirvana.
