NEW!!!! T30R Laser Flashlight

Ala Manker, these LEP prices are “Disgusting” :person_facepalming:

…or a Lumintop LEP that reaches out much farther and costs much less (with BLF code). Hmmm, Lumintop or a Trustywarmfire.

Strobe? Seriously? On a LEP? :person_facepalming:

I’m out.

You don’t need to activate it!
Main cycle seems to be 3 levels; strobe is hidden.

Still, it’d just bug me. About as silly as strobe in a 100lm AAA light…

“Oh, wait, Mr Killer. Let me hold this switch a few seconds to activate strobe and carefully aim the pinpoint beam at your eyes before you murder me.”

Or maybe strobe an attacker a half-mile away…

Nope, sorry, with the tight no-spill beam, LEPs are long distance lights only. Even 100’ out, I can’t picture myself lighting up a rat or skunk unless they got a song’n’dance act, otherwise the spot’s just too small. It’s meant for farther distances.

I’d be okay with the 1-mode Acebeam, maybe 2-mode with memory (vs having to constantly flick the mode switch in case you want The Other Mode. But more modes, strobes, sos(!!), etc., are just silly.

And (to me at least) that kind of light must have a forward-clicky for momentary-on. (Which it has, so no complaints there.)

But yeah, absolutely, any mfr can load it up with all kinds of unwanted crap, and no one’s holding a gun to my head to buy it.

Dual switch, USB-C charging and 30mm head make this sound pretty good. Is this the narrowest LEP there is?

I'd be interested if there was a coupon code? Just seems a little steep with the current market of LEP's right now. I'm sure build quality is solid though. But still, there are some nice sub$200 leps right now. Although I know nothing about them, can someone tell me why this is worth the $200 price tag VS a less expensive astrolux, Lumintop top, etc.

also- this LEP looks very similar to GB Freeme is running of a different manufacturer. It too has 1000m and 450 lumen. But it's $120

Every LEP seems steep to me and I frequently use a fully focused Led while boating. I get why they sell, but this doesn’t seem like a BLF price.

Less, if you collect at least 5 willing ...

Thanks for the link.
Well it’s interesting that while they want to sell a LEP flashlight in this form factor at $199, which is far more expensive than many other “branded” LEP flashlights, they do not bother to answer questions in this thread which was created by themselves lol.

Trustfire is not too bad by any mean, they are actually quite okay in budget range but since there are already quite a few LEP flashlight options selling at below $150 nowadays, so Trustfire might want to consider giving some serious discount codes for this light.

No one mentioned the right-in-the-middle clip yet ? How the hell are you suppose to use it ?

Really looks good, but I’d have liked to see less separation between 460 lumens and maybe 200ish lumens. Still, 95 lumens and nearly 500 meters is a good option for less intense viewing.

Terrible pocket clips… the pandemic of the flashlight world. :person_facepalming:

Clips and “tactical rings” are generally so useless to me that I pull ’em off as soon as I get the light.

Only exceptions are deep-carry clips like on my MH20, S2+es (add-on), etc. Most times, though, they’re just an annoyance.

My s3 baton clip is wonderful for sliding it right on my hat. I’m sure this TF would be super useful on a hat brim. :cowboy_hat_face:

I like the pocket clip where ‘if’ you used it 2/3 of the light would stick out of your pocket. It’s like a clip to keep the light out of your pocket.

This attitude really bugs me

Same as the thrunite archer 2a v3 and that’s very popular

Honestly curious why. I hope people keep buying them and the technology evolves to suit my uses, but they’re just not useful to me at those prices. Other than the wow factor, which I do enjoy.

I will admit, haven’t used one…what am I missing.

Just people seem to only want cheap prices on here, businesses need to make a good profit and I doubt the laser modules come very cheap.

I have no use for one either. I reviewed the Maxtoch L3K LEP and sold it immediately after
