Hello, all. I recently dragged an ancient incomplete project out of the pile. It’s a Torchlite SVD7 host, for which I have a driver of some sort, and what I believe is an MT-G2.
I’d like to complete this, but don’t know what the hot ticket for drivers is these days. I’m interested in a driver which has well developed firmware available.
The attached picture shows the bits I have available. Aside from a driver, anything else I should get? Thanks!
I have 3 of this same host and LED except on noctigon. I already completed one with a different driver that I got a very long time ago from Hank. I stopped there because the driver was very inefficient (I didn’t measure, but it got VERY hot). I do like the beam created by the combination. I’d like to find out if there are better driver options half a decade after I bought the others…

Any suggestions on 2S driver for MTG2? I don’t need fancy UI, but given the capability of the emitter, host and cells I’d like to push the limits.
Sadly, I haven’t done anything on this project yet. Been swamped with other things.
Hopefully someone will chime in with some driver suggestions.
If i recall correctly (unlikely) the driver is 20mm? This seems like it might work, though the max is 4.5A. I’d prefer higher.
