3х21700? 4x21700 would be better. flashlight is already quite large, mak8ng it little bit large should seriously improve runtime in higher modes

With 4 cells they could’ve also went with 5000mah cells making the capacity even higher(12750mah vs 20000mah). Even with the same 4250mah cells it would’ve still made much more sense.
Thank you for the size comparison pics and for the beam shots. I am happy that it has normal modes for normal heat generation and normal run time. But what I’m really excited about is a few seconds of lighting up a large area very bright, and then throttling down to focus on smaller area closer up.
Can you choose a warmer tiny or are you stuck with super cool white? Interesting light, imagine it gets warm pretty quick on 40K lumens.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it lasts almost a minute on turbo. It has a lot of thermal mass and a handle so it can reach higher temperatures without burning your hand.
It looks like 6500k and 5000k are available.

So the 690g is with cells then?
Judging by those photos above, the throw to be somewhere in line with the X45 (maybe slightly less) so yh that 800m rating seems off. Even if it manages about 650m that’s still be good for such a powerful light of this size.
May be more in the range of 600 meters depending on the real lumens output if it is close to the advertised 40 000 lumens. I doubt the 800 meter range. Imalent DX80 measured just over 700 meter with a 92 mm head and around 29000 lumens. X50 has got a 75 mm head.
crap, 40,000 lumens? You will soon need a permit to buy something like this.
