I am selling a real treat for collectors and people who like to have extraordinary lights - a flashlight created from scratch for my individual order by a well-known and recognized modder - Adrian Rembecki (@Chatika vas Paus)
The base of the flashlight is the Nitecore E4K body. I chose this model for two reasons - the first one is the unibody construction that ensures excellent heat dissipation, and the possibility of powering the flashlight with 21700 li-ion cells.
The factory driver was replaced with a powerful 7.5A CC + DD driver by Emisar/Noctigon, onto which the latest Anduril 2 was loaded. It is a very extensive UI that can be configured and adapted to your needs.
Cree XP-L2 diodes have been replaced with a mix of Samsung LH351D diodes (2x 5000K dedomed, 3500K, 2700K), which are characterized by a very high color rendering index CRI95 (CRI XP-L2 is 70). Thanks to the tint mix, it was possible to obtain light with an eye-pleasing, slightly warm color, devoid of green accretions typical of highCRI LEDs.
The new LEDs also allowed to increase the amount of light generated in the highest mode from 4400lm to approx. 5000lm.
Low-quality reflectors were replaced by Carclo 10622 optics.
In addition, AUX diodes have been installed, which, thanks to the Anduril 2 software, can act as a battery charge level indicator, or simply make it easier to find the flashlight in the dark. The backlight color can be easily changed from the UI.
Brass discs have been soldered to the springs in the nut and on the controller, improving the flow of current and reducing losses in large amounts of light. In addition, they allow the use of high-current cells with a flat plus - for example Samsung 21700 40T.
All the modifications made have been described in detail by Adrian on the BLF forum: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/66898
The flashlight has a small scratch on the ring when trying to unscrew it to modify the flashlight.
