Anduril firmware customization in Sofirn IF25A.

Hello guys,

I am kinda newbie to the flashlight community and I was wondering if you can customzie Anduril firmware (I am talking about Sofirn IF25A in this case if it matters) so I can have following output levels:

moonlight / 50~ lm / 500~ lm / 1500~ lm / turbo on 2x click

And that’s it. No more steps. I think you can set the firmware to have 3 steps, but can you adjust these steps to be on particular level or is it like only predefined steps?
Maybe you can set it based on current or something like that?

I hope you guys undertand what I mean.

Cheers
Thomas

The steps are always spaced perceptually linear. At least in theory. With a direct drive driver you can’t control the absolute current so it will depend on the battery state a lot.

No,what you want is not possible with this light. Also I don’t see much sense in that spacing.

In Anduril, the user can adjust the stepped ramp configurations to get moonlight and max ramp where you approximate your parameters are, and set the desired number of steps, but I believe the firmware automatically spaces the output levels between the steps. Turbo will always be double click.

…edit to add, your example would be 4 steps from moon to max ramp.

Thank you for your answers guys.

Cheers
Thomas
