Opinions of the BLFGT94

Hello Everyone. I am, in the next couple of weeks, going to purchase a BLFGT94 to add to my collection. I would like to hear people’s opinions on that light. So anyone who has experience with the BLFGT94 please let me know about them, thanks Jim

No one with Gt94 can give me any advice on it?

Happy GT4 owner here, but the GT94 must be awesome too!

Edit: while waiting someone to give you personal advice, Matt has made a great video featuring the GT94 in september last year  . BLFGT94 vs BLFGT4, loads of beam shots GT94 NOW AVAILABLE!

Yes I have seen the video. I want some people who in one the share their experiences with it. So I take it you like you Gt4, what can you tell me about the throw

Want to light up a mountain? gt94…
Accurate color and god enough throw to shoot stuff? stick an sst20 in a M21A C8.

I mostly still just use the C8. Contemplating customizing with a buck driver

The beam of GT94 is so wide animals think you turned the sun on, they don’t look up at you. GT90 would be better. The color and especially the cct are horrendous…you want 4000k- for throw, and the spill literally contracts your pupils

If you can deal with the downsides of an HID, the FF5 is a much better light. If you want raw reach, get an LEP.

I decided to give myself a cooling off period before posting my reply to this topic, so as to appear not too effusive, too bubbly and too overly exuberant about the BLF GT94.

Out of 49 high performance lights in my nascent collection, my two favorites are the light orange peel GT94 and the smooth GT94, that I got on October and November, 2020.

The GT94 is a big, heavy light, but it gives the biggest, heaviest power-thrower performance. The beam profile and beam performance is a must see flashoholic life summit experience that can not be missed!

It supersedes my two X65 that excited my life in December 2016, and doubly excited my life, one in each hand, in March 2017.

A little bit less lumens but some more throw than the R90TS that I also know and love. Much more more power than dedicated throwers, such as MT90 Plus and MF05 that I also know and love.

I have a more than a few multiple emitter XHP70.2 lights, in small, medium and huge sizes, so I do not have the GT4, yet.

Several comparison videos that I have seen do not show just how much throw the GT94 has, in my humble opinion.

The amazing thing is that Acebeam, Imalent, Fenix, Olight and Nightcore nor anyone else ever came out with multiple SBT90.2 power thrower lights. Only Haikelite and Lumentop, and I do thank them. With two HK90 and two BLF GT94, that shall suffice sufficiently, it would so appear.

For those times when the GT94 is too big to carry, there are so many smaller lights to choose from. But there is only one BLF GT94!

Thanks thats what I was hoping to hear.I have a acebeam x70and a k75 also a mateminco mt70 plus long body and thrunite tn40s. And have been wanting the Gt94 to add for some time now

I love my GT94vn.

A couple pro tips include making sure to get button tops and I strongly recommend getting a lens cover. I ended up getting one from B&H Photo, the “OP/TECH USA Hood Hat, XX-Large.” If you plan to store them with head disconnected from the body I recommend getting these other two hood hats as it’s a perfect fit: “ OP/TECH USA Hood Hat-PK Micro” and “ OP/TECH USA Hood Hat, Micro.” When it comes to shoulder strap, I use a Yeti shoulder strap from my Hopper 12.
