WTS/GB: NICHIA 219B NVSL219BT-V1 R9080 EMITTERS! sw45k, sw40, sw35, sw30

in sw35, the lower bin does not correlate with lower duv, in fact it is the opposite, in my very limited sample of experience…

I do not own any spectrometer equipment

I have the D180 sw35 from andy in a light of mine
plus I have the D200 sw35, also from andy, in a separate light
Im hoping he restocks D200

side by side, my D200 is more pink than my D180

I found the D180 less pink than I prefer, and was pleasantly suprised to find the D200 is slightly more pink, hence more to my liking.

fwiw my sw45 bin experience is the opposite of sw35
with sw45 lower bin gives lower duv also
the sw45k D200 is more pink than my SW45k D220

fwiw, the amount of pink in a group of leds is quite variable, even within the same bin, side by side, they vary amongst themselves

any bin of 219b is more pink than any LH351d or SST-20 I have seen (not that many, your experience may vary)

I modded a ThruNite Ti3 v2 recently with the sw30 but also shaved the dome off of it resulting in the results sitting lower than BBL. I didn’t take any measurements beforehand but it should be closer to BBL. Each emitter even in the same reel can be different so YMMV.

That is good to know that the duv is flipped around per Bin with the SW35 vs SW45K. Andy, As for dedoming 219B’s, that must make the tint really nice looking at your chart. Have you ever tried the lee minus green filters on any of the 219B SW’s to drop the duv even more? Are there results out there that show this?

I’ve never tried lee filters on the 219B, only the SST-20 and he made it better.

Here’s a comparison between a shaved sw30 vs a normal one.

Shaved 219b 9080s are in my experience the most beautiful emitters ever. Not very bright, but the absolute best choice for small cell EDCs IMO (especially with boost drivers.) The closest thing to zero angular tint shift and reliably rosy™

Can I have 10 sw30 emitters?

You got it. PM inbound

As a general rule, lower flux bins are more likely to have lower Duv, simply by nature of the greener tint being more efficient (and hence higher luminous flux). This is one of the reasons 219C has a reputation for somewhat mediocre tint after 219B, because Clemence was ordering the highest flux bins available for all the group buys, and most sellers have done the same afaik. It’s not a hard and fast rule since there are rosy D200s and neutral D180s, so it really comes down to the individual reel because the ANSI binning for 219B in R9080 isn’t exactly all that precise.

UPDATE: I have a few sw35 available again

I’ll take 10x sw30 and 10x sw35 please.

Thanks!

sw30

I’ll take 4 sw30 and 4 sw40.

You got it. PM sent.

Can you send it to Japan?
I’d like
10× SW45
3× SW35
please.

Yep that’s not a problem. PM inbound.

Are the sw40 D220 still available? And is the current batch neutral or slightly rosie?

Yes it’s still available. Tint will vary depending on the light its installed in but generally it’s on the neutral side.

May I order 2 of each please?

Sure thing. PM inbound
