TrustFire T90R Super Bright 4800LM Flashlight

hello,thanks for your support,
the eBay “TrustFire2020“also is the official store.the sale price is 169.99USD.

hello,
This is new product,eBay also an official shop ,Please buy with confidence.

Hello,Federico.thanks for your support, we will send the link to you on tomorrow or the date after tomorrow to your email.

Thanks Trustfire for your quick response. Will look at details of the T90R.

Any special discount code for BLF members?

BTW, the price on eBay, US$170, is about double the group buy price of Convoy L7, which also has SBT 90.2, but it uses 2 x 26650.

No way that’s doing over 1.4km.

The result of 1.6KM is obtained through strict and professional continuous testing.

Hello, please follow the eBay store”TrustFire2020”and click “contact seller” via listing, thanks

Ordered this morning, but I think I will use a pair of Molicel P26As instead of the battery supplied with the kit, which I think are better performing even if I don’t know if the T90R has a direct drive.

Hi, we do not recommend using this battery because the bit molicel p26as is 18650 and the capacity is too low.
You can use 21700 which has convex head , it can direct drive.

Sorry you are right, I got confused because I already use the T70 with the P26A, while the T90R wants the 21700, I meant that I will use a pair of Molicel P42A.

Is the L7 a common favorite? How does it perform compared to other throwers ?

I will answer your question by making you a personal ranking of the performance of all the torches of compact size or with the head between about 45 and 70 mm that I have. The first and undisputed winner is the Noctigon K1, it follows the Convoy L7 at a short distance, the Astrolux FT03S is very close, a little further back we have Convoy 4x18A SBT90.2 which precedes Acebeam K30-GT on a par with JKK90, plus back on equal merit Manker MK37 and Wurkkos TS30S, still behind Manker U22 III finally Manker MC13 all with SBT90.2. The T90R is yet to arrive, as soon as I try it I'm curious to know where it will fit in the ranking ...

I appreciate the feedback, I’ll definitely look into the K1, I’ll be carrying Convoy and Manker brands very soon, keep an eye out.

This light reminds me of the relatively new Imalent UT-90 that I bought which is their first hunting style light in 2X 21700 SNT90.2 format. Came with remote pressure switch, green & red lenses and was roughly the same price and lumen specs. OK light, terrible switch and UI though.

Hi Federico,Thanks for you reply

For T30R SOS mode,
we would like to say that the mode is hidden, and it’s not activated and start when you normal use.
The purpose is to make it easier to find and target targets when you being warning environments. such as search and rescue.
Our flashlight is professional tactical products,it’s must have this mode also is the latest program program.
please let us know if you have any advice, thank you so much.

This time Convoy must abdicate! Trustfire T90R has superior performance to the Convoy L7 which is its direct competitor as a 2x21700 battery configuration and as a led or Luminus SBT90.2. And the most remarkable thing is that the difference is not small as one would have thought, probably the narrower hotspot of the T90R may be a bit deceiving but the advantage in throw is above the specifications. This is definitely the compact flashlight, excluding the 3 or 4 battery configurations, more powerful and with more throw, even better than the Noctigon K1 SBT90.2 which is the reference in the category. At this point the T90R LED becomes the queen of the category and compared to the Thrunite TN42 V2 which has very different performances does not look bad at all. Good guys from Trustfire I'm curious to compare the T90R with the new Amutorch X65T release and we'll see what happens ....

Thanks Fedtro for your very useful and exciting information.

Now I am very interested in this wonderful Trustfire T90R. If it is much better than Convoy L7, then it might worth paying double the price of the L7 to get this T90R.

Will wait and see what the other users of T90R will be saying.

I bought it on Alibaba and I didn't spend twice as much as L7 but I spent in total including tax, customs, duty $ 108.

Thanks Fedtro for the tip.

Just checked Alibaba’s web page for Trustfire T90R. I note that your BLF posting on 4 August “This time Convoy must abdicate!” is shown in the first review there.

Indeed, the price is amazing, especially when compared with US$199.99 on Ali Express, and US$169.99 on Trustfire’s e-Bay.

You mentioned using your own 21700 Moricel P42A cells. I* assume you can replace the “built-in” battery pack with your two 21700 cells.* Did you detect any difference?

I don’t like flashlights with a “built-in” battery pack, because when the battery pack turns bad, the flashlight is useless.
