MTN Electronics: LEDs - Batteries - Lights - Chargers - Hosts - Drivers - Components - 1-Stop-US Source

Thanks Tom E! I will try that on the checkout! :+1:

I wish there was a MTN on this side of the Atlantic (with the same drivers at least :weary: )!!

The code use to be “BLF ”for a small discount on select items

“BLF” and I do not recall what items it works for or how much

Thanks folks
I’ll report later when I place my order! :+1:

I managed to get a $1.54 saving with the BLF coupon. The order was 52.17 and the shipping…16.25 :person_facepalming:

I am sure I will have to pay more for it when it arrives, though :zipper_mouth_face:

That’s a lot of shipping but unfortunately that’s just what it costs us to send out internationally. Thankfully we don’t have to worry about the import fees (yet) like you guys do. :frowning:

Yup, shipping fees are huge, specially from the US and among EU and other european countries. Some stuff from China (BG or AE) is still free, but less and less.

Now we have new rules in which we have to pay for VAT (some stores have that included already, such as Convoy Store) and aslo custom clearance. Packages with values above 150€ have added fees.

So far I am wating for this order from MTN and another from Convoy, all above 60€. It will be the first test on how much I will have to pay when stuff arrive to the country… I’ll let you know about that :money_mouth_face:

Although you import much in the US, you have an advantage that you can get many stuff within your own country, which is a plus, too !
Here, we need to resort to external stores. Again, I wish MTN had an EU based store

He does have an Int'l store - the link is on the US home page. Portugal is listed as a supported country. He hasn't posted here in years.

Yeah, my orders were done through there. Still, that “international” part is only to mention which countries are supported and which restrictions may apply regarding shipping (batteries, mainly).
Still, it is not a store/wharehouse outside the US, which leads us to the shipping issues again :weary:

It looks like they're working on the site. Can't wait to see if it's a redesign!

Maybe, but I have seen those notices there before and they seem to have just been away as the notice states. Maybe it is Utah :new year” and they are simply doing like Simonb did with hos site for Chinese new year.

When your a Husband/Wife company —- the only way to truly get away is close the site for a few days

Yeah give them a few days. There’s no better US based small company to deal with

Looks open

Yes. Was chatting with Richard earlier. Such a great resource!

Agreed, MTN is a great store!

I’m getting my latest order any day now. I don’t think I want to add up all my orders with them over the years. :person_facepalming:

I do miss Richard’s posts here on BLF though.

Same!

I have so many of those little brown boxes stacked up with parts etc

I keep the invoices because they have the minute details of my orders. That can help for inventory and driver specifications when swapping between hosts.

Richard has hand written some very helpful notes when ordering for project lights that we have discussed.

I have every invoice in pdf form, in date order, with notes I have added as I wanted. Plus a spreadsheet of what parts went into what lights. And who the lights were given to. I have all the boxes used for assorted storage too.
