Hi I’m refitting a surefire g2x with a new life. Will a z44 bezel go on theg2x body securely? I’ve seen x-to-z44 head pieces, is it necessary to use the converter, or can i use any z44 bezel?

Sorry, unsuccessful post. Revised
Z44 will not go on an X series. The inside diameter of the X series heads are much smaller (close to an E series I believe). If you want to convert the G2X to a p60 style drop in you, would need something like this.
I used to have a G2X and really liked it.
