Musical Artists vs. Music in Motion Pictures

While I think you won't get banned, I'm not sure.

What I am sure of is that you'll get banned way before I ever get banned.

I'm not stupid enough to get banned.

Did BLF member teacher (from Alabama, USA) actually get banned for being a troll? Maybe you are talking about another „teacher“ but I had come to know him as a courteous and decent guy but out of a sudden he just left the forum. Of course, there might be two sides of the story and I am just not well informed…

Yes, he got banned for being as troll (almost 2 years ago.)

Can you please enlighten me with some facts, if more appropriate via PM is also appreciated. Thanks. :)

Sorry, I don't remember the details.

If you PM Mr. Admin, he might tell you more, as I'm sure he remembers exactly what happened.

No, I won‘t be that inquisitive, bugging SB with it. Nevermind. It’s alright. :)

Raccoon, I am not gonna argue with you. What you wrote in your last post to me above is ridiculous. You actually do the things you accused me of. Nevermind… you edited that out.

You apparently think you can say & do anything you like…. and then if someone disagrees then you are suddenly the “victim”.
You come across as thinking your opinions are all correct & you can do no wrong.
It is laughable, it really is.

I have gone back & read many of your posts. Your MO is entirely predictable.

I did this after receiving a couple of messages warning me of the games you played on here.

So, giving you the benefit of the doubt; I went back & researched quite a few of your older posts.

The warnings were spot on.

So let’s just agree to disagree… OK??

If you need something to play with, go to K-Mart & buy you a toy.
But please know… I am not that toy.

Regards & the end. :white_check_mark:

Like most of your other posts, not a word of that is true, teacher.

Whatever Raccoon…. it is ShyOne though. Get that part correct please. Please do not confuse me with the person you said was a troll. :person_facepalming:

I have no interest in arguing with you. It serves no purpose & as you know, is against BLF Rules.

Now it's ShyOne.

It was teacher, who was a troll.

You don't get banned for being a nice guy.

Maybe someone could get a banned-aid, then.

Thanks, Lightbringer!

Maybe that'll end the argument.

Guys, let me distract a bit with some fantastic original television soundtrack that I can really recommend in times like these…

Handmade music by W.G. „Snuffy“ Walden and to my mind one of the best, unregarded and underestimated soundtracks in the world. I know many people like the big players like Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson Williams, James Newton Howard, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith… but this is one I often select for listening.

Yep, The Stand from the 1990s was awesome.

I hear that the recent remake was pretty bad.

They did a remake? Well, some things should better be left untouched as is. The new MacGyver is another disaster in my humble opinion.

Ugh… They™ did remakes of everything — “Magnum PI”, “MacGyver”, “Hawaii 5-0”, “The Equaliser”, soon “Fantasy Island” — not an original idea in their cocaine-addled heads.

“The Fog”, anyone? “The Blob”? Yeah… no.

Waterworld — Shawshank ——- I wonder who will play Red

Got hooked on Cinemix. Plays only soundtracks. No adds (other than the occasional station id.)
There are other similar stations, but not as mellow.

Sometimes I can just recollect the movie and some memorable passages. Other times, the score stands alone and is touching.

Was in iTunes (Internat Radio) but as Apple has moved to a paid service (Apple Music), can’t be found. There is a site that has the listings and the URLs (samsoft.org.uk ).

Thanks a lot. I used to listen to Cinemix very often but somehow I lost track of that radio station. Radio Rivendell is another good one, playing a lot of fantasy music soundtracks, e.g. LOTR, GOT.

What I enjoyed was the iTunes Radio. It could play in all my spaces (from bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, my 3 shops and of course on the porch come summer). Also had it set up as my morning alarm. Now is all broken and have to contend with the comp’s soundbox…

Will be trying Rivendell…

Edit (21/07/22);
Just now playing “Once upon a time in the west” and I can see the many clichés of Bronson, Fonda, Cardinale, Robards, and Ferzetti.

I can’t help it, but so hooked to Cinémix – so many memories.
