Tint mixing with triple optics?

Thinking about mixing SST20 4000K and 2700K in my FW3A. Has anyone done this?
2700K is a little bit too warm for general use and I am thinking about mixing two tints together. I know that it works for many with quad optics, but what about triples?

why not just get three 3500k?

Where can I get decent 3500K SST20?

google says:
SST-20 3500K

GB4 tint bin will probably be greenish…

Tint mixing in triple TIR optics works fine. It can be a lot of fun to mix and match to try get your perfect tint.

I have done it several times — one of my favorite is SST20 4k / LH351D 3.5k / XP-G3 4k
All at least 90 CRI —- for some crazy reason they work well together —Although the LH351D 3.5k is quite good by itself

I tried it once with 219c emitters, in low mode the cooler tint ones would appear much brighter than the warm ones, maybe because of the Vf or bin difference, it’s fun but not very practical.

Works well in getting duv down.

Im enjoying the 4000k SST-20 in my FWAA
they are not greenish, to my happy suprise.

I hope you find a tint combo you like.
Im waiting for azhu to restock the 3500k 219b
meanwhile Im quite pleased with the 4000k SST as is

I tried 2700K + 4000K + 5000K SST-20 in a S2+ (Carclo frosted lens, it should be 10508).
It’s noticably rosier than 3*4000K at higher levels, not much difference at low levels though.
The beam is quite even and unless I put it super close to a white wall, I don’t really notice the difference tints.
