Friend, I’m a bit stupid from a technical point of view, it’s hard for me to upload a photo here, here is the link to the purple Petrified fish 818 knife! By the way, I recommend!https://clck.ru/WLtA7
It isn’t a successor but a different flashlight, the UI is the same but the LED is quite different. Low CRI, cool white and higher throw and output compared to the high CRI, neutral white and floody LH351D.
When are flashlight manufactures going to understand that colors make all the difference. Don’t they remember when Apple sales skyrocketed when they offered computers in 5-6 different colors? People got tired of beige computers and likewise with black for flashlights.
Thanks Wurkkos, I have just used the discount code to order two Purple FC12 flashlights with battery. I guess one of my daughters would love to have one; so I have ordered two.
Very glad to get such a good deal for such a new and interesting flashlight.
Prices on Wurkkos.Com are usually better than on Amazon, Banggood, and Ali Express, especially when there is an additional discount code for use on top of the normal discount of $5 for every $60 of purchase, and $10 for $100 of purchase.
definitey a good deal, especially since Wurkkos batteries have a solid reputation (think, Sofirn).
and I 100% agree with you about colors- my collection has a lot of color and honestly it is one of the top considerations for me when making a purchase decision (after emitter and function). Afterall these lights are almost as much eye candy as they are function. I understand manufacturers making black, but at least 1-3 colors should always be considered. Your example of Apple is 100% a great example. Love them or hate them, Apple knows how to sell widgets. If they do it, and it's not a flop, then any company could take a lesson from it. I think some new phones are in colors too, and selling fast.

and I agree about camo... like I would LOVE to see sales figures for camo cooored lights. They have to be under 10% of total sales. I am in business and have been for 10+ years and always a part of my brain goes to percentage of sales/stock issues/manufacturing process/ and what obstacles these smaller companies must face when making new lights and colored bodies/ etc. The "buy in" for them to change something can be substantial (say there is a minimum order of 500 or 1000 units for them for a certain anodization color from their anodization vendor, or it takes that many pieces for the break even in the cost to do it to make sense). There are so many factors they must consider so that they are still remaining profitable. All of that to say - you can't tell me CAMO is going to be a better bet on their investment than say blue, red, or green (all very popular colors).
look at astrolux- one of the best things they do well is every release has at least two colors. Convoy is starting to do that too.. with the M21c line and c8 line. Olight is also fantastic at this.
anyway sorry for the rambling, but you bring up a great point. People will buy colored bodies flashlights. It's not a risk for these manufacturers.
I’m really tempted by that orange convoy. But when I say blaze orange, I mean, hunter bright blaze orange. Probably can’t be done w/ anodizing. Fenix came really close w/ orange cerakote but they gave it some worn look treatment or I’d have to buy it, even at $200.
I found it not working either until I changed the second last digit from a letter O to a number 0 (zero). Then it worked. I’m off to check the specs now….after already buying the lightbulba
