Damn, shipped (no prime) for a bit over 8bux!

“Garlic chopper”, but more of a generic mini Magic Bullet, reviews seem good.

20bux down to 15bux, promised discount to 7fitty. Okay, so add 5-6bux worth to make free shipping? Sidebar said it qualifies for free shipping, sure enough, I was at the place-order stage and free shipping (Aug 4) was an option, applied the code, 8bux and change, and yes, still free shipping.

Dunno what black magic is responsible for that, but I’ll certainly take it!

Oooh, nice way to mince my hot peppers without having my fingers go all hot and tingly.

I got the light for $19.46 before shipping, there’s a new vipon code available I guess…

2oz JB Weld $3.29

You can get 10oz of jb weld for usually around $15. I use quite a bit, if you do also, you probably know that. Good deal if you don’t need much. I’ve not had it dry out, but I probably never have 10oz for more than 3 years.

If you do use a lot, put a price watch on this. More of a putty, flows less than jb weld while setting. I’ve used all 8lbs since I paid the same in 2018.

Thanks for the heads up. Great price for this generator. I just snagged one.

I was under the impression it came with the solar panels (since its called a solar generator), but that is not the case. “Solar” just means it accepts variable voltage, 10V-25V.

tempting!

here’s a deal on the new wuben e6… got the code from a deal website. runs out 7/30 apparently.

wuben e6

Code works for me. Anyone have this? Not sure I would use it.

Yup, I’ve got it. Great little thrower. IMHO $25 is a steal for this light. Heck, I’m tempted to get another one at that price! My review:

It’s a sort of GTmicro type light and gives it a good run for its money, but for me there are more than one deal-killers.

“Breathing” sideswitch. F’n creepy, only choices are breathing and off, no steady. Okay, I can turn it off, but what’s the point of a lit switch, then?

Weird-ass UI. Not as backward and counterintuitive as on the E05, but bad enough. Only shortcut is for blinkies, nothing (as in zero) for moonlight/turbo.

So as is kinda typical for Wubens, fantastic hardware, trash UI. :weary:

Ordered b4 you posted. I’ll probably return it. I’m sure I’ll be disappointed compared to 3 soonfires for nearly the same price. I wonder when Amazon will cut me off. I return a LOT.

As long as it hasn’t shipped yet, you can cancel. I did that a few times no prob.

Cancel denied :email:

I politely beg to differ. It’s not a super-flexible UI like Anduril, but nor is it meant to be. It’s meant to be dead simple. Would I have liked shortcuts? Yes. Does that complicate things for everyday users? Perhaps. This thing has 3 modes; to me having shortcuts isn’t going to make-or-break a UI when you only have 3 modes. At least it’s click-on, click-off.

Yeh, it’s a personal choice.

Just like I’m not about to toss out my E05 because it is a fantastic piece of hardware, but there’s nfw I’d EDC the beastie simply because of its backwards UI.

My gf has a set’n’forget approach. Set the light to the brightness she likes, then it’s just on/off. Nothing wrong with that if it’s what you want.

But for (seemingly) most people here who want andouille 3+ for even a squeezy-type coin-cell keychain light, a backwards UI might not fly.

I just tried forewarning him about that.

I’m too dumb for Andruil tbh. Maybe someday I’ll memorize it and find it more useful. I’d like to try Andruil 2, maybe I’ll make fewer mistakes (that end up w/ light in whacky mode).

I’m in favor of - low, medium and high and maybe turbo to impress my friends.

I have asked many people, no one knew what an SOS signal would look like. And most have no idea what it means if they even did see it .

“I need Brillo… fast!!”

Thanks for that. I will put up with ramping from high and a few other UI quirks, but these? Nah. OSRAM CSLPM1 and CULPM1 emitters are still relatively new… there will be more deals like this with other lights having a better UI. Can wait!
