Anyone know if the UI matches up with the manual shown in that review OP?
I just posted the Wuben UI. It’s not like the Manker. It’s very simple and basic.
Click on. click off.
While on, long press to cycle through low, medium, high.
Double click from off or on and get the strobe.
I did try the 10 second long press and it had no effect.
Edit- forgot the lock out. From off, click 4 times to lock out. Unlock with 4 clicks.
Yup, I reviewed it at 1Lumen. Very simple 3 mode UI. Click on, clock off.
I also had thought about the Manker similarities. Never owned one though. Unlike the Manker that had a pill, bilakos’ review shows the LED and driver both being mounted on top of a shelf. A very interesting and compact design with what should be good thermal path.
Yea, the Manker is 2 mm shorter, 1 mm thinner at the head. JM's review of the T01 here is probably why I bought one. There's just so many similarities around the switch specially, and clearly the styling is different, and the E6 is certainly modernized with the LED, etc.
Actually the low amp LED that throws is like perfect for this design. I should mod my T01 the same way. Way back my intent was to mod it with a driver swap but it didn't work out, can't recall details why, but small driver PCB were hard to come by back then.
That E6 LED/driver design is a major issue for a driver swap mod.
I received the Lumintop D2 today —- it’s very small —same length as a S2+ ——the Osram LED isn’t bad — very similar to a SST40 — the Tint isn’t bad I guess —I’m not into cool white though —charging is 2 amps —— I’d buy it again for $20 + —- This one is getting an upgrade to something 4k though

it’s rare that any deal site i go to has a flashlight, other than slickdeals more recently. but that was a good one for sure.
