NEW!! ACEBEAM X50 High CRI95 LED Photography Fill Light

crap, 40,000 lumens? You will soon need a permit to buy something like this.

Comparison between X70 and X50.
40 000 lumens small flashlight compared to the large 60 000 lumens flashlight.

I am really interested in this flashlight, is there anyone on the forum who can form a buying group? thanks to those who will be interested.

You can contact these nice gentlemen in Germany:

Sven Stewitsch

www.stewitsch.de

Thorsten Gatzemeier

www.gatzetec.de

Both of them are official Acebeam retailers in Germany and if I am not totally mistaken they can ship flashlights to Italy, too. I am not sure if they can ship lights with replaceable batteries but as X50 comes with an integrated battery pack I would feel optimistic. ;)

Looks like it’ll make a great companion to the X70.

Just got my ACEBEAM X50!!!

Measured 958 lux at 10 meter distance which give an intensity of 95.8 Kcd. This is 619 meter throw and not the advertised 800 meter max. Ceiling bounce was 2414 lux compared to 1644 lux for my X80GT.

Thanks Hardusvd70,
nice shoots and review but it seems to me that GT3 is almost as powerful as X50 am I wrong?

This is normaly. All new Acebeam models has more numbers on box than on flashlights.

True I don’t know how Acebeam got max 800 meters of throw

probably a rough estimate. light this class should be onspec not just guessing…

I have the X80GTvn. Would you say this is worth the upgrade? What are the pros and cons?

By the way thank you so much for helping all of us. =]

I will say yes. As I can remember the vn is 31000 lumens. My X80GT close to 28000 lumens has no modification but I must say the X50 is definitely much better with throw and as well much better with the lumens output.

Does it use proprietary batteries or the high drain Acebeam 21700?

It is a Built-in 10.8V/4250mAh Li-ion battery pack.

After 3 years battery will need to replace. But you can not do that. So you will have expencive light with maximum 40% battery capacity.

X50 is going to be my next light. I am going to ask my favorite modder if he can replace the cells when the time comes. If he can't, I still want this light.

Are the cells 18650 or similar, or are they a special, unobtainable size?

Beautiful light but it’s hard to compare with my admittedly larger Imalent MS18 or my Firefoxes FF5

Does the lock/unlock switch cause you to hold the light any differently than you would otherwise?

Or does the switch in the unlock position create a thumb rest?
