Today I received my Acebeam E70-AL 6500K with battery and camping light bulb.

My first impressions can be summarized with: Why do I not own more Acebeam lights?

The build quality is superb and I love that the driver has no PWM at any level.

There are 6 1.5x6mm tritium slots around the light. There are also 8 bigger slots that can fit 12mm long tritium vials but they are too shallow for 2x12mm vials. The maximum thickness that can be accommodated without protruding (and thus breaking) is 1.5mm.

The UI is simple and easy to use, with double click to turn on being a nice safety feature and the levels are nicely spaced. The light is pure flood and powerful. It is thermally regulated and on Turbo it steps down quickly, as it puts out more light than its size allows to thermally sustain. The tint is not pleasant, as is to be expected from the XHP70.2 emitter, but the output is impressive.

The size is larger than I would comfortably carry in my jeans’ pockets, but it is small enough for my backpack or a big jacket pocket.

All in all, very happy with it! And the design is a beauty!

Yes, you should buy Acebeam.
That’s why they gave you this gift.

As a thank you gesture for the giveaway prize I won, I decided to make a review. I have posted it in this thread: Acebeam E70-AL 6500K comprehensive review

I have received mine, a neighbour collected it from the mailman and hopefully, I'll be home in September to see this thing :)

See post for my view of E70 #amazing
