Thanks for letting me know, it should be working now.

Can you see much of a difference between firefly and low mode? I just received my Mini today and there doesn’t seem to be any difference between the two levels, firefly looks way too bright for .5 lumens.

Good review, and impressive little thrower. The recessed lanyard attachment is pure genius IMO. My number one complaint about most budget light designs are the tail cap profiles and lanyard cutouts or dimple profiles. I absolutely despise scalloped caps and roughly milled dimple holes on short barreled lights (to include standard 18650/21700/26650 single cell tubes). Thrunite really nails it here.
If I didn’t already have an overabundance of NM1 lights, I’d be all over this. Still might as I’m intrigued by the TIR optic.

Any idea how this compares to the Manker MC13?

Thanks for the review, I like these reviews that are not too long.
The Catapult Mini looks nice and useful but the throw is IMO not “incredible” (as you mention) even for its size, TIR lights never are, using the same led in a similar size reflector light gives you substantially more throw. I do like TIR flashlights though, they have in my opinion a great beam with the perfect ratio between spot and spill.

Were those 2 skunks at about the 2½ min mark?

I just got a response from Thrunite

“loose the tailcap first, and then long-press the switch while screwing down the tailcap again, and then you could find the firefly mode, slowly single press the switch to choose the lumens of the firefly mode that you like, when you find the brightness you like, double click the switch to confirm, and then single click to turn off the flashlight.”

It worked and wow, there are a lot of firefly output options!

Well done thank you

Does anyone know if it’s possible to use a battery with this light that doesn’t have the proprietary plastic circular wall around the button?

According to Zeroair the proprietary cell isn’t required and it works perfectly fine with regular flat top unprotected cells.

Thanks for the info! :+1: I didn’t see that comment online.

ZeroAir complained that the Catapult Mini charged the battery to 4.25v… anyone else have a slight overcharging problem like this with their Catapult Mini?

Nice and I’m interested in smaller lights these days. Ones that take 14500 or smaller batteries. Hmmm, might have to grab this one.
