Thanks Hardusvd70,
nice shoots and review but it seems to me that GT3 is almost as powerful as X50 am I wrong?
This is normaly. All new Acebeam models has more numbers on box than on flashlights.
True I don’t know how Acebeam got max 800 meters of throw
probably a rough estimate. light this class should be onspec not just guessing…
I have the X80GTvn. Would you say this is worth the upgrade? What are the pros and cons?
By the way thank you so much for helping all of us. =]
I will say yes. As I can remember the vn is 31000 lumens. My X80GT close to 28000 lumens has no modification but I must say the X50 is definitely much better with throw and as well much better with the lumens output.
Does it use proprietary batteries or the high drain Acebeam 21700?
It is a Built-in 10.8V/4250mAh Li-ion battery pack.

After 3 years battery will need to replace. But you can not do that. So you will have expencive light with maximum 40% battery capacity.

X50 is going to be my next light. I am going to ask my favorite modder if he can replace the cells when the time comes. If he can't, I still want this light.
Are the cells 18650 or similar, or are they a special, unobtainable size?
Beautiful light but it’s hard to compare with my admittedly larger Imalent MS18 or my Firefoxes FF5
Does the lock/unlock switch cause you to hold the light any differently than you would otherwise?
Or does the switch in the unlock position create a thumb rest?
Does the lock/unlock switch cause you to hold the light any differently than you would otherwise? No not at all.
Or does the switch in the unlock position create a thumb rest? Depends how big your hand is.

I’m not sure what type of cells they using. It is a sealed unit.
There’s screws on the battery pack. Someone’s gotta try open them and see what’s inside.

There are three 21700 batteries in series.
Did a throw test at 20 meter distance:
Measured 116.8Kcd which gave a throw of 683 meters
Measured 118Kcd which gave a throw of 687 meters
Mine arrived today
The direction and placement of the LEDs may wreak havoc on even the mildest ocd.
But otherwise a great looking light.
