Reflector has a higher rating of throw, 116 kcd vs 108 kcd - dunno in general, been curious about this myself.

I'm interested in the IF22A - $35 is a little steep, not much.

On their website it shows a little cheaper but sold out here.

I have ordered both IF22 and IF22A. Hope they arrive anytime soon, so I can do some comparison (lux meter, beamshots, whitewall shots). I have suggested Barry (Sofirn) to also try Osram KP CSLPM1.F1 or Osram KG CSLPM1.2 (no datasheet available) in IF22A. A green pocket thrower like this would be a good competitor to Acebeam's L18 or L19 model.

we have took some short videos ,did not know how to shows here

Can you send them to me via Wechat? I will be happy to upload them on my Youtube account on Sofirn‘s behalf. Or Barry can send them to me. Just choose what’s most convenient for you. Smile

BTW, I will try to take some good comparison beamshots of IF22 and IF22A a.s.a.p..

thanks ,that will be so helpful

Yes, we need more green emitter lights! Was thinking of getting the E10 but looking for better value options. If they can make a green osram version under $40, I’ll buy it. Short 18350/26350 tube would even be better

Yes, depends on whether you can avoid looking at it or not. Very difficult when prominently lasered into a flashlight body, except it's a no-ano one.

Smile, you cannot kill them all.

Nicely done. I have the IF22 on its way. I think I’m going to like it.

Anyone have a manual that explains UI? If you could post a copy it would be appreciated. Sorry I see on Sofirn site it uses Sofirn stepped and ramping UI.

Welcome to the forum. Someone with more experience will be along soon. I believe you have to upload pictures to a photo sharing site such as imgur. There may be instructions on site. I have not done this yet. Will be looking forward to seeing pics.

Hi. I am new here…I thought I would share with you what I know. I just ordered the if22A from sofirn’s website. I decided to go with the TIR lens because I do not want spill. I have a photo showing the two beam shots. This shows the difference in light output based off the two lenses.  The TIR is the top one in the 3rd image. Looks like a cleaner cutoff with less spill.

The IF22 has the reflector and the IF22A has the TIR, so did you order the IF22A?

Oh…I meant to say I ordered the AF22A version. TIR. I have enough small flashlights with flood. A clean pocket thrower like that with a juicy 21700 battery sounds sweet.

The IF22 is in stock, but the IF22A isn't anymore. Barry said 2-3 weeks for the next batch. You could have got'n one of the last ones.

Just ran across this tonight.. https://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/threads/amutorch-xt40.82216/

Helicoil magic as usual.

https://amutorch.com/products/amutorch-xt40-high-light-practical-lens-fl...

On Amutorch’s listing, the knurling and tailcap is different. Not uncommon for them, it seems.

Apparently, Simon/Convoy is nearing a release of his own ~40mm TIR light.

E10, L17, MC13, EA01, X1L, IF22A, XT40.. Am I missing any here?

Since I only have the X1L, please somebody correct me if I’m wrong. But there seems two be at least two variations of this optic. The Acebeams, Manker, and Lumintop use one and then the rest use another. Key difference to me is the frosting of the center and the size of the injection ‘spur’.

There’s also the FF E01

picture shows:
top left-right: MC13 – X1L
bottom left-right: Nextool 6-in-1 – EA01 – E01

(Nextool 6-in-1 is a zoomable light, so not exactly the same kind..)

I’ve ordered the IF22A… let’s see how it looks like..

Thank you, Jackie. The specs on that page… are they for the cone reflector? I imagine the TIR will have different throw/spill characteristics, but I don’t see any separate listing by reflector type.

As for the name… changing case, maybe consider a new font:

I like the 3rd one down on the left column… but if all lower case is preferred, I’d pick the 3rd one down on the right column. A sans-serif style font looks cleaner, more modern.

Greetings from South Florida. You motivated me to try a logo. Smile
