Help me find a forward click switch?

Hi guys I have been looking for a forward click switch for the tail cap of my Convoy s2+ and a knock off Surefire from Aliexpress. I think the Mcclicky switch illum sells will work as long as the threads match but I dont know until I try it. I don't know if I am not looking in the right places or they're just not as available as reverse switches, but I can't seem to find one to work. I think I found a couple switches on Omtens site but I have no idea where to buy it. Can someone help out the noob?

You can try buying directly from Convoy Store, these ones (1 pack = 2):

They come unsoldered, but check with Simon if he can solder the for you in case you can’t.

You can also get them from MTN Electronics there in the USA:

It is more expensive, but I guess they will fit the same way.

From Convoy Store you also have packs of 5 switches, but without the boards or springs.

I got some of these last week and they work well!

Ah thank you Mascaratumb! I just placed an order from Mtn and it's getting delivered today. I don"t know why I didn't see that switch on their website, I goofed on that one. I have one of those square switches mounted on a 20mm board that came from a Milwaukee light that broke. I planned on using it in a p60 Ultrafire light I have that's 1 mode only. I will place an order with Simon for some more since I know they will work. Can I use them in lights that will be 5amp? I will solder a braided wire bypass of course.

I thought forward clicky switches wouldn’t fit in the S2+ and C8? Something change?

Now that I think about it I'm not sure that those will fit without modification. The switches sit on/inside a flat metal washer and the new square switch is larger in diameter and longer. I can open up the inside of the washer with a Dremel but I'm not sure what to do about the height until I take it apart and see it.

I would talk to Simon about your options.

What's the best way to talk with Simon? Should I just go to the listing for the driver and send a message through the AliExpress store?

Top left of screen hover mouse and a drop down appears, click contact now. He’s pretty good about returning messages.

I have several S2+, S2 and S6 with those switches installed! The only eventual modification you may need is on the rubber tailcap and the spacers that sit between the switch and the rubber tailcap
Please note that, depending on the modding options, you may lose tailstanding ability.
But still, if you reduce the “inner tongue” of the rubber cap, normally the height decreases and allows tailstanding again.
