Anyone have a manual that explains UI? If you could post a copy it would be appreciated. Sorry I see on Sofirn site it uses Sofirn stepped and ramping UI.
Welcome to the forum. Someone with more experience will be along soon. I believe you have to upload pictures to a photo sharing site such as imgur. There may be instructions on site. I have not done this yet. Will be looking forward to seeing pics.
Hi. I am new here…I thought I would share with you what I know. I just ordered the if22A from sofirn’s website. I decided to go with the TIR lens because I do not want spill. I have a photo showing the two beam shots. This shows the difference in light output based off the two lenses. The TIR is the top one in the 3rd image. Looks like a cleaner cutoff with less spill.
Some more pictures from Baidu. Credits go to the Baidu community and TLF member helicoil who discovered these pictures. That means I am the messenger boy, only…lol.
Oh…I meant to say I ordered the AF22A version. TIR. I have enough small flashlights with flood. A clean pocket thrower like that with a juicy 21700 battery sounds sweet.
On Amutorch’s listing, the knurling and tailcap is different. Not uncommon for them, it seems.
Apparently, Simon/Convoy is nearing a release of his own ~40mm TIR light.
E10, L17, MC13, EA01, X1L, IF22A, XT40… Am I missing any here?
Since I only have the X1L, please somebody correct me if I’m wrong. But there seems two be at least two variations of this optic. The Acebeams, Manker, and Lumintop use one and then the rest use another. Key difference to me is the frosting of the center and the size of the injection ‘spur’.
