What's your favorite candy bar?

Depends on what I’m in the mood for. I like a lot of the mainstream branded bars. Snickers, Twix, and Butterfinger are all good. I want to shout-out Trader Joe’s Organic Dark Chocolate Truffle though as one people may not have tried.

I acknowledge that the mainstream chocolate I listed is of inferior quality to a lot of specialty stuff that can be had (I love dark chocolate and that is poorly represented in the mainstream) but I don’t buy any of those with any regularity because I don’t like paying $6 for a candy-bar.

According to Wikipedia:
“Necco produced Mary Jane candies in Revere, Massachusetts, until their 2018 bankruptcy, when Mary Janes and the company’s other candy brands were auctioned off. No buyer was immediately found for Mary Janes. The Mary Jane brand was later acquired by Spangler Candy Company. In October 2019, it was announced that the Atkinson Candy Company would make and sell Mary Janes starting in 2020 under a licensing agreement with Spangler.”

For me, I have to have PayDay candy bars.

They have a lot of peanuts, so they're somewhat healthy.

with RC on this: PayDay.

I also like 5th Avenue candy bars, but they're tough to find cheap so I usually settle for Butterfinger if I don't feel like a PayDay.

Snickers, Nestle Crunch, or (not really a candy bar) Reese’s

KIND, numerous flavors.

Isn’t that one more of a meal replacement rather than a candy?

Reeses in any form. Some are better than others but as long as they have the peanut butter, I’m happy.

Whachamacallit.

One mini almond joy and one mini mound at the same time

I’m with you on that.

Reese’s PB cups. I want one as big as a toilet-seat.

Kit-Kats. Ditto.

Mounds/AlmondJoy, but dark chocolate.

Coffee Nips. Love coffee, and I love the word “nip”.

Paydays, but they gotta work on the glue so you don’t have to pour half the peanuts in your mouf from the empty wrapper.

Dark chocolate in general. One’s a “Special Dark” (Hershey?) and don’t recall what’s the Nestle equivalent. But the big 1lb bricks like they used to have, not the sissy-pansy skinny flat bars they shrunk into.

Peanut-brittle and/or birdseed candies (sesame seeds in toffee or whatever). Them’s goooooood.

Aside from the Nips, I haven’t had candy in æons, though. I could use a treat…

Snickers

Mounds

Almond Joy

Payday

KitKat

Reeces PB cups

In no particular order.

Chris

I am not picky. Anything that is almost pure sugar, and flavored with a little bit of chocolate, corn syrup, vegetable oil, salt. Thank God there's no processed red meat.

No Oh Henry! lovers here??

I like them when I can find them. Sadly one of the stores near me that carried them stopped doing so for some reason.

Maybe it’s too popular at that store? :money_mouth_face: Oh forgot to add in my earlier post that I always put my Oh Henry! in the fridge before I eat them. I just love nibbling pieces off and having them cold makes it easier and more controllable. Anyone prefer to eat chocolate bars cold here?

The original USA Mars Bar. Not the crappy imitation Almond Snickers.

Do the Mars bars lovers realize they are completely different depending on where they are made; US or EU? Milky Way and 3 Musketeers also differ.
