Which TV show did you watch lastֻ

Hmm, at least superficially, it sounds like “The Fringe”.

Fringe was more of an X-files-ish thing where they had a weird thing of the week deal while they sorta advanced the main story line periodically.
I swear they made crap up as they went, kinda like Lost, but it turned out somewhat better, not great, but better than that disappointing piece of…you get my drift.

Counterpart pretty much is all about the main storyline, but has lots of intrigue, characters, backstory, and history to tell. (oops, thats redundant, oh well)
I enjoyed it quite a bit.
People you think are good/evil may or may not be, etc… and the first J.K. Simmons you meet is just stuck in the middle of it (hopefully that’s not a spoiler :p)

I saw the Men's Basketball Final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Don't worry--there will be no spoilers in this post.

(I know that there may be some BLF members that want to watch this game, but haven't had the chance yet.)

This was an entertaining game to watch.

There wasn't much of a crowd, and they started out pretty quiet.

As the game progressed, the crowd got louder.

If you like basketball, this was a great game.

Not watched last but some time ago and really enjoyed.

Californication

The Sopranos

I started watching Pennyworth on Amazon/Epix —— It’s about the younger Alfred / Batman —- I/m not sure about this one —-All these choices and nothing to watch

Rewatching “The Guardian” on MyDecades, a “binge weekend”.

Almost forgot how good it was…

CRIMINAL:SPAIN
netflix
crime/court show

I’m in the middle of season 2. Funny, hilarious, amusing, brilliant series. 9/10 if you ask me.
Sherlock 2010

Hit and Run (Netflix) Starts off kind of slow but by the end of the first episode it gets pretty good — I fell a sleep last night midway through eps 7 and part of 8 — I’m gonna finish this one off tonight

I’ve watched the first three episodes so far. It’s getting interesting.

we were wondering if any current TV series or individual shows
will ever have masks on the main characters faces. everyone
around here wore them for 18 months, and now they are back.

maybe a courtroom scene where masks are mandatory?

I hope to Hell not. Who would ever want to be reminded of this insanity, especially in reruns?

I thought I saw a few episodes of Chicago Fire or Chicago PD or New Amsterdam with masks.

Final season of The Walking Dead started last night.

All In The Family is on Prime. Way ahead of it’s time.

Am I the only one who hated all the characters except Archie?

At least he was funny, not annoying.

A real peach. A lovable idiot.

What We Do In The Shadows
Is starting a new season.
This is my favorite weekly type of show. Just love it.
All the Best,
Jeff

I came late to the game for “”The Blacklist”:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blacklist\_(TV_series).” It started in 2013. And wow… has it ever been prophetic about the state of politics!

I enjoyed James Spader in Boston Legal, but I was never all that keen about him (no pun intended). But here, in Blacklist? Wow. His acting chops came to the fore. He gives Michael Emerson’s Benjamin Linus a run for his money. Anyway, there’s 7 seasons. I’m just starting Season 3. And with 22 episodes per season, this is one heck of an epic series. There’s some predictability to it, but lots that is difficult to predict. Many twists/turns that, while unexpected, are plausible.

Another great series is “”Designated Survivor”:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Designated_Survivor.” I think it’s the best work Kiefer Sutherland has done thus far. I wasn’t a fan of him from his “24” days, doing the Jack Bauer character. But this… is amazing work. It’s the most realistic US government drama I’ve ever seen. Frankly, I wish we had a real Tom Kirkman for president these days!

Benedict Cumberbatch is superb as Sherlock Holmes. And his chemistry with Martin Freeman is astoundingly good. Super series. The US version is OK but so very different. The episode clutches are small. They really took their time making these, trying to interleave production around the commitments of the actors. And despite the end of season 4 finishing 4 years ago, the 5th season possibility is still floating about. Cumberbatch and Freeman really want to do a 5th season, and I can see why—they really LOVE working together! So hopefully it’ll happen sometime soon.
