More shots of this ‘S15’. I’ve never heard of this model. Is it a knock-off? Prototype? Really old stock?
Simon, can you comment on this?
From the Shopee listings it comes in SST20 but only 5000K or 6500K. Roughly $12 converted to USD.

seems to be with pill. For single emitters I prefer the design of the Blf A6 where it’s very easy and quick change lenses

Simon….when you’re not busy… Can you find a better spring solution for the M3 light? I think others have noticed it also but with the single spring in the tail it just isn’t strong enough to keep the weight of the 26650 cells in contact with the brass button on the driver when set down on the tail, so the light cuts out. I notice with mine that if I’m on moonlight and set it down gently, it will cut out and actually shut off the light. On any normal/higher mode it will blink but not shut off. I’ve tried stretching the spring but of course that wasn’t enough. It seems like at the base of the spring coils there is about 2-3mm of space that the spring will lower into as weight is put upon it, reducing the spring length maybe extra than was designed? But with the brass button on the driver instead of a spring, there is no give/support for when the battery moves in the tube. The spring quality is excellent, maybe just needs to be longer or made of thicker wire? Someone posted a photo here where they cut a small piece of rubber tubing to put below the spring to limit its travel/compression but that seems less than ideal solution. It’s a minor but important small defect in an otherwise wonderful flashlight design. And what’s this S15 photo…?!! I like that.
i asked the factory to shorten the middle tube of flashlight ,it will be changed in the futurn ,
currently Users can use 26mm board to fill the gap

As a low-cost flashlight, S15 is only used for my salesperson to sell on shopee LAZADA

At the same time, I plan to launch a S21A SST20 flashlight, the price will be low, suitable for ordinary users.

2.5~3 Ampere would be enought with Duv below BBL at very low current
Hey Simon. I noticed that the T2 with 219b is not available anymore. Have you stopped production?
Perhaps he is updating that batch with the 12 mode driver. I know that is what I am waiting for. ;0)
It might end up having different mode groups than the regular 12 group driver, I don’t think he ever posted what the final modes are going to be. The 0.1% mode wasn’t going to be included because it wouldn’t work for some reason.

I also noticed the Convoy S15 in Lazada, Shopee and Taobao.
It appears to have SST20 and SST40 LED options.
I’m guessing your Lazada/Shopee store name is MaoMinHui and MH-Lighting Store?

Review of L7.
4700 lumen instead of claimed 5900 lumen.
100% for 80 seconds in room ambient.
Not good.

To be fair the SBT90.2 was never meant to produce 5,900lm with that buck driver… not sure why the exaggerated claim.
100% for 80 is plenty good and the review says it got to 77°C, if anything it’s the lack of cooling or mass that’s stopping it from higher output, not the driver. It still gets 3000+ lumens for almost 1 hour of regulated output which is impressive and better than most SBT90.2 lights out there.

While most of the review was focused on the Turbo, I can add, that I found level 2 and 3 particularly useful for work or walk, while still providing a lot of runtime, throw and spill. Of course I wouldn’t bother with 700 grams in the hand for lower levels only, but you still have the goodies of the turbo if you need it. Overall just like the reviewer I find it a good upgrade of L6. And L6 also gets toasty
