SFT40s expected back in stock?

Does the Convoy S15 sold on Lazada work with standard S2+ accessories?

magnet, TIR lens, pocket clip

Any chance you will be stocking 219b sw40?

F, my hand slipped and I ordered the Convoy S15.

Once it comes in, will take photos of the gray S2+ and gray S15 side by side.

from left to right:
Convoy S6 (XM-L2, 5/3-mode group, ~2.8 Amp)
Convoy S15 (SST40, 4-mode driver ~ 4.5+ Amp)
Convoy S15 (SST20, 4-mode driver ~ 2.8 Amp)
Convoy S2+ (Nichia 219C, original Biscotti, ~2.8 Amp)

I’d say that the S15 reflector looks the same as the S2+
(side note: S6 has a much deeper reflector, probably similar to the S2 reflector)

The S6 was my first love in Convoys. That deep reflector didn’t pair as well back in the day xml2s were all the rage, but nowadays with Osrams and the like, I hope to see it again.

I received the 26800 extensions, they work and I’ll show pictures tomorrow. I’ve got two on the L6, two on the L7 and saving one for the M3C I don’t have yet.

That’s awesome, I have been thinking of 2x26800 too much.

yes

Hi I’m trying to order a TIR reflector for my s2+ 219b (in the mail) and I’m a bit confused. I’m looking to achieve a nice even floody beam profile.

What size footprint should it be? (3535, 5050?)
Which angle should I choose? (85, 60, 45……?)
What kind of surface finish? (matte, bead, strip, clear?)

Thanks in advance for your help.

I happen to like 60° to even 90° for floody. Mine are all clear, but if you got the options (they’re cheap enough), get a few of each. Pebbled is nice, like my E3A twisty, clear is fine, frosted is probably like diffusion film.

My 120°s tend to have a ring around the periphery, but 60° and under are all perfect. 90° can be either.

Again, just need to try ’em and see what you prefer (which might be different from what I prefer).

85degree 3535

Wouldn’t be great for H1 and 219b?

Thanks!
