Thanks for the awesome review! this lihgt i ahve been eyeing. since it came out! the design is awesome IMO, and the driver is a bonus! the metals available are a bonus too!! I just saw brass is available, and for looks I like that one the most! I wonder if Acebeam will make it with the 4500k 95 CRi if requested after ordering form theyre site?
I know this is an old thread but anyway. I had an E70 sitting for about 8 months on the shelf. Went to use it. It turned on low only. I checked the battery. It had drained to zero as in 0%.
I attribute this to the parasitic drain caused by the electronic switch.
Love the light and I have no regrets buying it. Its still the nicest looking light I have seen.
I have many lights with electronic switches on the side and the back. I do think they are cool and everything but from a utilitarian perspective you cant beat a mechanical switch.
A superb design is when a light has an electronic switch for control and a mechanical one at the rear for power on/off.
