Wurkkos FC12S (side switch version from FC12) what do you think?

Yes, it is full FET.

Hopefully Wurkkos realizes the color is a big factor in the popularity, despite some UI and length issues

That purple is a sparkling ano - it's impressive!

No stock black, when do you sell the new colors?

Wurkkos disregard any and all ideas about a side switch working as an on/off switch. Because if you do that, the light loses the ability to be jacket-pocket carried without accidental activation. Or else have a separate model with the side switch as activation switch.

There few and many reasons for a manufacturer to do whatever deem fits best.

End of the day, I will never buy any Wurkkos Flashlight because when newly launch, they tends to overpriced. After 1/2 months, they price will drop drastically.

Just my opinion and observation…

I don’t see how that’s a disqualifier. Sounds like a reason TO buy Wurkkos. They get their profit from people unwilling to wait, and you pay less later on.

It’s a manufacturer, not a friend or neighbor, and with the pace that new flashlight models are released prices will always go down.

First of all, I never mentioned anything about disqualifier, it’s just my opinion.

To each his own. That’s the reason in next 100 years. There will be no best Flashlight in the world.

ok

:+1: :+1: :+1:

That’s a silly reason. Doesn’t even make sense tbh

I recently ordered a fc11 and fc12. I chose the 2700k fc11 hoping the warm light will be good for tracking deer blood at night? Should these lights be adequate for hunting? Maybe the fc11 in 4000k or would have been a better option?

VOB made a vid using fresh and… stale?… blood, testing it with various lights, from UV to blue to WW/CW white to whatever. Forgot the results, but someone probably got a pointer to the vid somewhere.

I’m not very knowledgeable about flashlights other than basic experience with them. The cool led lights don’t make the blood color “pop” as well as natural warm lights. I’m sure a 3000ish is a perfect light temp. I just found out the fc12 is a 6000k? After I ordered it. Maybe i will send it back for a tc11 or ts21 in 4000k.

Why not get a Sofirn IF 25 with Tint Ramping from 2700k-6500k

Didn’t they sell blood tracking headlamps? Green, blue, some color is supposed to make blood stand out on the ground. I haven’t needed to track at night, I would probably favor lumens to some old gimmick light, but maybe there is some best color.

An Adjustable color temp light is a great suggestion, I might buy it just to figure out what I like.

Anyway, I wouldn’t use an sft40 for close up blood finding. Color temp, cri, yes - but also just a wider even beam.

I’ve always heard an old Coleman lantern was the best for tracking. I assume the 2700k would be closest to that?

I looked at it. And I still might lol!

the new colors will at batch 2# soon, out of stock right now because of SFT40 LED is rare, when LED ready, new stock will ready

Loving my new Purple Wurrkos.
