I got an email saying my order is invalid. This system doesn’t make
any sense. You are only allowed one code per order but it automatically goes onto every item you purchase so say for example if I want to buy one E10 at the normal price and one E10 at the discounted price, there is no way of doing that.

This was a very poorly executed discount sale. Why bundle in lights that you can’t purchase alone with the discount? They should’ve just included only above $99 lights and made it oh so simple.

Well, I checked with PayPal and it’s an authorization that’s pending and won’t go through until the order is processed. After a few days it should expire. Still, clumsy mistake by Acebeam.

If I understand this correctly, in order to buy let’s say a T18 we must add other full price item to reach the 49.90 minimum? And the items that were $0.00 can’t be purchased along with anything else in the promo?

This “sale” doesn’t make any sense, next time just price the items at whatever amount you want them to sell for…

My PayPal charge is not ‘pending’, it went fully through.

I sent info@acebeam.com an email about this issue, asking for my money back, over a day ago now and they have not gotten back to me.

EDIT: Almost three days now, no response… I don’t know at what point I should just go through paypal to get my money back.

After sending a second email, saying if they did not respond immediately I would get my money back through PayPal, I finally got a response and my refund within a few hours.

So if anyone hasn’t yet gotten a refund, bug them, and tell them you will get your money back through PayPal if necessary.

I assume this was just a (pretty big) technical mess-up on acebeams part, and they must have had a lot of people affected and were scrambling to get it all refunded.

I hope they worked to resolve it so it doesn’t happen in the future.

But they do make good flashlights, and while this was annoying, acebeam is still reputable in my book.

I too erroneously sent an order without reaching the minimum spend-entirely my fault I tried to use my points which brought the price down too low. I therefore reordered and sent an email explaining what had happened. Acebeam could not have been better, replied within hours to my email and refunded the next day.

Slightly off topic I ordered a PT40 without battery and discovered that it did not work on turbo using the two different protected batteries I tried- a flash and then nothing worked until I unscrew the battery compartment which reset it. I then used a 20 amp unprotected battery and everything is fine. The light is low discharge protected so no worries.

I just told them I wanted two lights, 1 E10 at the normal price and 1 at the discounted price. They accepted. Originally I tried to get the discount on the PT40 as well since I had two orders from different accounts but they didn’t accept that. Anyway, looking forward to my red and green laser beams. I’m gotten quite used to LEPs so I hope I’m not disappointed.

My red and green E10s arrived today! Can’t wait to test them at night. Once thing I noticed is that the positive terminal of the battery gets very hot when charging. Is this normal? It was charging at 0.7A when i touched it and it was pretty hot. The rest of cell was just warm.
