Initial bezel design is rather aggressive. Fortunately they listened to my advice to tone it down, else shredded pants and backpack stories would arise later.

So managed to do a quick test tonight. Was a bit tricky as I had to try and do 12m inside, and was struggling to read the meter at that distance, so I’m taking these with a pinch of salt. I got 1.95Mcd. Really need to try a further one outside with someone giving me a hand. Anything around 5 or 6 meters is just pointless with this light, it just whites out the whole area and blinds you! Also, this light uses the original LEP module with a mirror, so at shorter distances there’s a black hole in the middle of the beam. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still focusing at 12m. Now this thread is unlocked again, I can share my findings. I thought this light just had high-low, but it actually has turbo, with a double click from on or off. Whilst playing with it inside I thought a double click just took it to high, and high and turbo are that intense I couldn’t tell the difference. So when I took my initial readings, I was only reading high. I’ve taken some more reading since and got the following:

Low - 619Kcd
High - 1.7Mcd
Turbo - 2.38Mcd!

All taken at 6m whilst wearing sunglasses! Haha
Still need to try and do some at around 20m when I get chance.

Over 3.08km? Quite impressive throw indeed. What about stepdown or tailcap amp reading?

I don’t have the equipment to do step down readings, but I did do some amp reading. I need some thicker gauge wire really, but this is what I got:

Low - 1.1A
High - 2.9A
Turbo - 3.6A

Just got mine. Very happy with the quality. Thank you freeme. I cannot distinguish the high from the turbo at all, which is not surprising and not important since the differential is relatively small.

When you double click from low to turbo you can clearly see the difference between high and turbo.

I put a type c cable to charge the battery,but I hadn’t seen any green/red light to show if the battery is charging,or it is in low voltage stage.Is it OK?

Is it USB Type-C to USB-A or Type-C to Type-C cable?

Is the battery close to 4v? Try discharge the capacity by activating Turbo for a minute or two first?.

It was 3.6V,so I put the battery in a charger at 2.5A to charge it.

By right it should work if inserted battery is 3.6V. It is better to identify the issue first. You might want to try different battery, cable, and input source?
