I was asked how much an unused GTmini in 4000K would go for, and I have no idea.
They’re discontinued, I can’t seem to find any for sale to even gauge prices when new to “scale down” for used, so I’m at a loss.
But they at least were a hot item, and vaguely recall most were CW, so maybe 4000K might get a premium over 6500K or whatever was the usual.
No idea if she has the box or goodies or anything, so can’t say anything more about it. All I know is that it’s a working pristine ’mini with cell.
Guesstimates as to how much one might sell for?
(No, I don’t want it, as nice as it sounds (especially the 4000K part), as I’m hip-deep in C8s and P30s and other throwers, including a coupla my own CW ’minis.)
That’s what I was wondering about, if it’d go the way of the RRT or anything.
The ’mini was The Shiite for so long, the scaled-down li’l brother of the infamous GT. Frankly, I was stunned when I heard it was 4000K, and asked “You sure it’s a GTmini??”. Yep, got a pic, it’s a ’mini.
(Rancher of sorts, needed a “field light” to see what’s going on over yonder, and I only vaguely recall pointing her at the ’mini, and only more vaguely recall suggesting picking a lower CT.)
I see Illumn got a ‘mini *pro” for fitty bux, but no regular ’mini. Big honkin’ XHP50 kinda defeats the throw of whatever’s in the regular ’mini (XP-L HI?).
4000K? Damn, I’m tempted to take it and sell off one of my CWs instead.
Whaaaat, you still have CWs in your collection??? I like the shape of the mini even though I didn’t get one. Only thing is I think it’s a little big for a keychain light but then again a right size for small/medium coat pockets.
I think they were 30$ for a long time and then went up a little ..like $35 ? but I don't have one and am simply trusting my memory . I was wrong once before ..If I recall correctly ..?
Goggled the ’mini on FT, and all that came up was a page like “Lumintop has left the building” or somesuch. Lotta other places have it as discontinued, etc.
Well depending on condition and all that, yup. I mean I would like to say $35, that would feel better. But either way I'm interested. If it's not scratched up I'm in.
also- mbp just sold this exact light a couple weeks ago for $30 I believe. That's the only reference I have. I misses his! So I'd like another shot. Lol
