Jessie may be more active on Reddit. He is pretty timely over there and usually responds in less than 24 hours though some days takes a little bit longer.
I got a 12v GT-FC40 4500k A4 bin in Rainbow titanium on its way. Do you guys think it’s worth getting another copper variant?
Message Jessie from Acebeam. He was able to change my Copper in to CRI version. I just had to give him the order number and he commented on my order, “ “Customer requests to change to CRI version!” I just made sure to over communicate before and after.
I believe you can contact him here or Reddit (Reddit might be better) at u/Jessie-Acebeam
Received my E70 in today. I bought the rainbow PVD with the GT-FC40 emitter. I have to say I love this LED. The GT-FC40 in this comes with a very neutral looking tint, less green than most LH351D or 70.2. I really enjoy the beam, it satisfies the white wall hunter within me. The E70 with this LED puts out around 2300 lumen on my Texas Ace Lumen Tube on turbo. It will sustain around 800 lumen until the battery starts to get exhausted, I find this output impressive considering the host is made out of titanium. This thing is chunky and I don’t think I’d usually EDC it. The rainbow PVD looks really nice and came without any scratches in the finish.
A while back I saw a photo of an E70-SS with a blue finish that really spoke to me. As I later found out, it was unfortunately part of a limited run of four units. Recently, a rep from Acebeam reached out here on BLF and offered to me a chance at purchasing an E70-Ti (which I ultimately prefer over the SS model) with a similar blue PVD finish which I graciously accepted.
I really like the look of this light. The cerulean blue and the orange signal tube complement each other perfectly. The finish is far from perfect; there are numerous small blemishes and hairline scratches but it’s not really something I’m all that concerned with. I think this one is definitely a winner.
For the emitter, I went with the GT-FC40. CRI / R9 is excellent and tint is ok. Duv is a little higher than I would have liked but it’s not bad. It looks very neutral. Certainly better than any XHP-70.2 I’ve seen.
