What you got today

Ultrafire V6-T60 from DX offers came in today.

Both V6-T60 3 mode and 5 mode versions are still available from DX.

Lots of info in the deal alert thread.

Got the cnqg AA host that E1320 likes so much. Though the product page said it was for XP-E and XP-G, and I added a comment asking for a small hole, it has a large hole like for a XR-E or XM-L (maybe this is why they threw in an empty P60 host that I didn't order? or maybe because it was my first order; I like free things). Like him I plan on putting a Nichia 219 in it. Will use a 1.4A driver set to L-M-H. Maybe I'll program it someday.

Also got a Ultrafire C3 in stainless steel from DX for $12.50. I was going to use that as my AA host and ordered it, then saw the one above. The C3 is actually pretty decent, so maybe I'll be happy with it. XR-E Q5 with EZ900 die. 5 modes, but maybe I can live with that. Threads and switch seem decent enough.

My second UltraFire UF-T50, ordered after destroying my first one trying to mod it to NW.

oops

Living on the wet coast, of Canada I don't dare consider anything that doesn't work in the cold and wet..kelly

and another one...

got a Taidea Precision Sharpener from exduct today in the early morning (WTF)

i can highly recommend it (duh)

So how 'precise' is your example ?

The one I received is quite poor .

ok, i will do some testing with cheap knives today and then report back by tomorrow!!

:)

Bought Wharfdale 9.2s second hand with the intent of using them at the 'office' for low level music, bought at less than half the retail price.

Reviews of the wharfdale 9.1 speakers say they are the best speakers around for their price, and some comments would place the 9.2 slightly below the 9.1, but still a very good speaker, with similar high clarity but with more bass.

IMO, they are boomy and really just another muffled mid bass pair of speakers, especially compared to the ones I received a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately not very happy with this purchase, even at half the retail price.. Should have got a spark SD-6 instead ;) but might end up with both :/

My DD UF-2100 arrived today. 5 mode, looks like it's always starts in "next mode". Going to get a driver swap anyway.

Can't wait to see how the V6-T60 fares against it...

I hear ya Kelly. Same in the uk, but I was a little optimistic regarding the up and coming summer that year…

Where in Canada? I’ve always wanted to visit Vancouver

Got an UltraFire V6-T60 from DX, ordered on May 16th, 2 weeks again for delivery from DX! I am pleasantly surprised!

I got some non flashlight related goodies from Manafont an amazing delivery a delicate glass milk carton, how it made it here in one piece I will never know. I fully expected to find a box full of powdered glass, but alas it arrived completely intact.
The infamous baby peeing jet flame lighter. My girlfriend loves it and on more than one occasion someone has picked it up and lit their thumb on fire not expecting the flame to be excreted from his baby dick.
In an order made in frustration after a bad batch of atomizers from Priceangles destroyed three of my five e-cig batteries I ordered two from Manafont and two from Priceangles big surprise here the Priceangle ones got here one day before the Manafont ones and the Priceangle ones are twice the size and twice the capacity as the Manafont ones and they have the ego brand stamped on them unlike the tiny generics I got from Manafont.

That lighter is great, everyone should have one.

E1320, can you give links for the e-cigs please from priceangels? What do you fill them up with?

I have been using these for over 3 years after being a life long smoker. I have tried a couple different designs and prefer the Ego tank system.

You want to start by ordering one of these three kits any of these will work fine.

You are going to need some replacement parts.

Atomizers burn up after a couple months or a couple weeks so you will need some replacements.

I recommend you order ten you are going to need them. The last thing you want to do is commit to quitting smoking and have your e-cig out of commission.

You also need some cartridges this is were the e-liquid is stored before it’s converted to steam by the atomizer as you inhale it.

A couple extra batteries is a good idea I always try to keep four on hand because again you don’t want to run out of power when you need your nicotine fix.

An extra bottle to hold your e-liquid is good to have to aid in a quick refill of the cartridge.

Your starter kit will come with some e-liquid. I started with Camel cigarette flavor since that is what I smoked.I mix my own e-liquid now I use 35mg per ml of nicotine which is extremely strong, but I find it keeps the wear down on my equipment. I can’t vouch for any e-liquid suppliers except the one I use. I am sure you can find a local supplier if you search the e-cig forums.

Thanks for the detailed info E3120, I had absolutely no idea how these stuff work and what you need, it’s for a member of my family who’s been smoking for decades and can’t quit…

I honestly had no intention of quitting when I first got into e-cigs. I just built a new house and was tired of going outside in the freezing cold to smoke. I found myself almost instantly addicted to the e-cig and have been smoke free for over 3 years now after smoking a pack a day for most of my adult life. I can tell you it isn’t for everybody, but it worked for me.
