Best Men's Wallet Ever?

Sounds good, and looks like you got it under control. Good idea to keep the basics in there too. I mean you know when one’s out and about for the day/night with all the hustle and bustle, it’s pretty easy to lose focus and have something slip. Also if you get pickpocketed, not much for the thief except another wallet for his collection.

Another pet peeve of mine...man purse?? I dunno man, those man purses look pretty close on the feminine side. I'm just saying.

se no more man purse!

Ohh, you must mean a Courier Bag, yeah that’s it.

This all started way back when.

I'll wear this type...

But maybe not this type...too big.

Naw, do what I do, and get one of those nylon bags with assloads of molle straps all over. Stick a few lights, killin’-knives, etc., on it, maybe a 2-way as well, with a bloody-skull “morale patch” on it.

Let's see, big honking BLF GT90 in the front large right pocket, wallet in the front middle left pocket, Astrolux WEP in the front large left pocket, knives and sharpening stone in left arm pocket, couple of 14000 lights in right arm pocket, Convoy C8+ in left arm pocket, chips and chocolate bars in left knee pocket, pens and notepad in the right knee pocket.

I’ve been thinking about getting a coin pouch, because I need to carry my AAA twisty and square dongle in the same pocket as my change, and the coins sometimes get stuck in the dongle slot or under the flashlight clip or they scratch stuff up. I came close to ordering a zippered leather pouch made in Guatemala from Hide & Drink (what a name!). But then tonight I decided to order the Allett Small Zippered Coin Wallet instead. It’s not much longer, an inch wider, and probably less thick. My usual wallet (a leather Docker’s) normally takes up a back pocket. Maybe if all my cards and bills fit in the Allett, I won’t have to carry money in two places any more. Worth a try! :+1:

Not the smallest or thinnest, but it did replace my all-leather bifold (I don’t like trifolds - personal preference:

Secrid Slim Wallet (Vintage Brown)

I originally was going for something smaller than traditional leather that I could stack my folding knife next to in my back pocket (especially those thicker Vic’s or Bucks w/o a pocket clip). It’s now my favorite wallet. Biggest downsides for me are it’s initially a little tight on the accessory card storage… especially since I often use it for a couple extra of my business cards (took a couple years to wear in since I don’t access those pockets frequently). Also, if you carry a LOT of bills, it gets a little thick (I tend not to).

BTW, I don't wear pants like that, just putting my point across. Too much going on for me lol. This is my current real setup. Fossil wallet, coin purse and waist sack, or whatever you call it. Anyone using a Fossil wallet here?

I really like the waist sack. Just the right size and not too bulky and heavy. Yes, it looks new because I just got it. Oh, the new wallet I won in a giveaway they had at one of those vaccine clinics. It's real heavy leather handmade by the local ingenious groups out here. No window though and just pockets trough out.

This was the Allett Mule, 2 years ago. Almost identical to the Allett Original. Caravan | Slim Wallets by Mule
The mulecarry website mentions Allett and the Allett website mentions their sister company Mule. You can get the Mule Caravan for $35 from their website with free shipping in the US and $13 shipping international. 30 on amazon.com. It looks like the card pocket covers are just slightly longer and it does not mention having the rubber strips to help hold the cards in place. Otherwise it appears identical with the same dimensions. Allett's Mule is slim but capacity is like a pack animal! - YouTube review from walletopia. Edit, I think I’m done shilling for them. I’ve got two coming from Amazon.

I like to go as slim as possible so I use these:

I don't have a man purse, but I do have a woman's backpack.

It doesn't look feminine, but it was designed and marketed for women.

I sometimes call it a man purse, though.

I’ve been using the Allett wallet for the last few years. It’s a nylon model similar to these Amazon.com.
When I first got it I thought it was a little bigger square than my old one but not much. Then I started loading it and I was amazed that my stuff was less than a 3rd of the thickness. It still looks brand new. It’s something so simple as changing the arrangement and orientation of the cards that makes a world of difference. I’m planning to buy some as gifts for family.

Some of those wallets seems to have a similar design to the Allett original except the cards are rotated 90 degrees. I might consider it if my Allett wallet ever wears out.

I’ve been carrying something like this for about 30 years now except the keys on a ring on outside so it’s keyes, flashlight , a ring attached to something that takes credit cards in the wad of cash...

pretty brilliant until you lose it and then you’ve lost everything. The upside is you don’t lose it because it’s everything you own Same as if you had a gun you keep track of it . Fits comfortably in the front pocket and does everything it ought to . Easy amall simple .

Thanks for that. I just ordered the H&D pouch, because the Allett came today and I’m not liking it much. To get change out of the Allett’s compartment I have to dump it all out into my hand, get what I need, then dump the rest back in… but the compartment opening is a bit narrow so it would be easy to lose some of the change when trying to pour it back in by hand. The H&D appears to open quite wide and yet it’s relatively shallow, so it should be way easier to find the coins I need without dumping them all out.

The Allett is probably going back to Amazon. By the time I put in 6 cards, 10 coins, emergency spare key, and a couple each of dollar bills and coupons, it felt pretty odd and lumpy and it didn’t want to close properly.

I have a man purse. Actually I think it is just a purse. Daughter got it for the wife and I ended up with it. Excellent leather. Decent sized over the shoulder courier bag type I think. Before COVID I mainly used it for carrying my dancing shoes. Now I guess it doesn’t get used at all because the other major use I had for it was when traveling. I could give a flying F what people think about it. Handy when I want it. Umbrella, laptop, water bottle and perhaps some snacks etc when out and about in a convenient easy to carry package. What does my plumbing have to do with any of it?

Agree with boosted. My EDC is just a few cards (2-4 depending on the day) and a handful of bills. Have tried many minimalist solutions and this is my personal favorite.

I do keep my less often needed but still important cards in a second wallet that usually lives in the car or backpack which is typically not far away. Still a slim design, but significantly bulkier than the clip…

I much prefer a vest to a purse or backpack.

Come to think of it, it is. I’ve never received a dime from that program.
