Kaidomain has 219B 4500K 92cri in stock

Unfortunately, we are suggesting that it could be the opposite. Higher flux bins usually mean higher duv. sw45*K* is a subset of sw45, guaranteed to be rosy. Non-K sw45 can vary widely.

Wishing for the best here though. If they come out to be very neutral Duv and D240, that’s a win for us all. Long live the 219B

I don't know why you'd post a Nichia 219C when they are taking about 219B's

the first 4000K 219c's were all shockingly greenish tint beasts . I remember thinking ..oh it's a Nichia ..it has to have a lovely tint ..BLAh !...otoh I did like the tint on the 219C 5000 80cri

A member here Snakebite has some 219B's for sale cheap . has anyone tried them ?

My pic arrived here faster than me
These 219c looks less yellow in reality. And 219b look more rosy.

because post #4:

“I have another Nichia 219CT 4000K CRI80… Is there a big difference”

thanks for your excellent photo :+1:

Let us know what you think of the Kaidomain Nichia 219BT 4500K LEDs when you get them Hank33.

I’ve often wished to be able to get the 219B 4500K sw45 vs the sw45k. The sw45ks are great, but it would be nice to also add the sw45s to my collection assuming the Duv is acceptable.

I ordered 2 on 9/7, right after I saw op thread! Hoping they turn out to be what I’m thinking others have sought after!

I’ve been throwing together a lineup of converted Convoy T2’s. With Andy’s 219b’s and a Neutral creamy goodness sw4500, would be awesome. So thank you OP, if there good.

I didn’t pay the $2 extra for tracking, so no clue when they’ll be in.

For sure, I'll wait for it and check out the tint and see what I can deduce. On a side note, I just looked at my past Kaidomain orders and actually realized that the triple Nichia I got about a year ago is a CRI92! It's the 219C 4000K and checking Kaidomain site now shows it's no longer available. Either way, I'm curious if the ordered Nichia 219B 4500K tint will be rosier than the 219C 4000K I have now? Will have to wait and see.

Well I was impatient and decided to order the triple Nichia 219BT 4500K CRI92 for myself. And included the black S2+ host with my order from Kaidomain.

I also ordered a 17mm Driver for SST40, an AR lens, and a lighted switch from the Convoy store.

And got a triple spacer, a 10511 Carclo Lens - 3-UP Frosted Narrow Spot Optic, and a Sanyo/Panasonic NCR18650GA from Mountain Electronics.

Would love to see some beamshots when you get em…

I’ve been looking at their p60 options, really budget price, never had a p60 light so been considering getting a set just to get a feel for the system.

They’ve got that kdlitker with triple and quad 219b’s. I assume the bin’s will be different compared to the ones I’m used to (FF, Hank, Simon) but if it’s still rosy-ish 4500k I’d probably still be happy with it. A 92cri is a 92cri after all…

219c is still a vast improvement over Cree  .

I’ll stick with Azhu and Convoy for 219bs.

I got my triple 219B 4500K and S2+ host 2 days ago from Kaidomain - very quick! Now I’m waiting for the driver and other parts.

It also came with a triple optic. Not sure why, but that was a pleasant surprise. Won’t be using it though since I got the 10511 Carclo optic which is my preference for triples. The MCPCB looks brass to me rather than copper, but this is my first Kaidomain LED so maybe that’s just how they look (the pic to the right shows the back of the Kaidomain MCPCB vs another one I have).

Once I get it all put together, I’ll post comparisons with my 219B sw45k and E17A SM453 LED flashlights. Fingers crossed!

if you want to use Carclo lenses, I think you need the triple board that mountain sells… the one from Kaidomain is different (ledl?)

also the sw45 kaidomain sells is not sw45K, it is just sw45, and it is not a 9080, it is 9050… and D240 (less pink). Imo you can do better by buying sw45k from azhu… unless youre intentionally trying to buy a non pink sw45

read post #5 for more details

that is not the droid Im looking for…

Hehe, your order arrival beat me by one day. I just received mine yesterday. :-) Kaidomain must have shipped ours out at the same time. :-) Well, I gotta get some beam shots of my current Nichia 219C 4000K and compare it to the new Nichia 219BT 4500K but not until I remove the XPL HI from the Lumintop EDC18 first.

Actually the Carclo lens fits fine on the Kaidomain MCPCB, see below. Carclo 10511 on the left, Kaidomain on the right.

I’m hoping the Kaidomain 4500K LEDs are sw45 vs sw45K. I already have the azhu sw45K LEDs which are awesome (and all the other CCTs that azhu offers), but I’ve always wanted the non-K version for my collection.

I actually like the KD optic a lot. The mcpcb is probably gold plated. Eagerly waiting to here back about tint.

geat info on the lenses and mcpcb compatibility, thanks

and congrats on your non-K option… choices are good
enjoy!

I remember that Kaidomain’s triples were to thin (or holes were to wide?) to make proper contact with the shelf/pill. It can be easily verified: put carclo upsidedown, then Kaidomain’s triple, and check if optic’s legs are protruding. If not, you’re good to go.

The legs are thicker, so if you don’t user the KD mcpcb then you will have to drill them out to fit

The Kaidomain optic is a little taller than the Carclo. All 3 of the Kaidomain legs protrude thru the MCPCB whereas with the Carclo, only 1 slightly does.

Left is Carclo, right is Kaidomain:

I find that the Nichia 219BT (4500K) has quite a pronounced hot spot. It’s almost like a thrower kinda beam. Whereas my previous XPL Hi (5000K) hotspot covered a larger area, the Nichia hotspot was smaller in size.

So now the Nichia lumen strength is just a bit less than the XPL HI, Nichia hotpot is more concentrated and smaller and the tint is slightly warmer than the XPL HI. Therefore, I retain the beam distance, achieve a slightly warmer tint and the lumens are slightly less. :+1:

Oh, if I slap on the Carlo 10511, then the beam’s gonna be more floody right? I have one sitting in my parts bin for who knows how long now. Plus it’s never been used yet too.
