Yes, I plan to try a few things for my reviews, one being a search and rescue demo with a mounted light. I’ll also have my wife in the bush with the flashlight on SOS or Beacon. May as well use this farm the best I can so I can really make my reviews unique.
I was keeping my eyes very fixed on the screen, having no down facing lighting I was a bit nervous of hitting a tree. The MF01S should help a lot
The beacon visibility would be neat, too, good idea.
Come to think of it, y’know if you dress up the drone just a little and give your wife the right flashlight……
Ahh, that explains it, I didn’t think about that, something I’ll need to consider myself but mostly I’ll be flying mine in almost no wind conditions in abandoned mines like in my photo below. I’m a beginner with drones but from what I can tell I can control the LEDs on the bottom side of Mavic 2 Pro by the remote. I plan to use either the signal to those LEDS to turn on the external light, or add a light sensor control to the external light so I don’t have to “operate” on the drone itself.

Absolutely, it’ll make it something alright. I need to also film the drone scanning the area with the light. I may have to reduce the use of flashlight comparisons to other models and do more of this. I kind of stole that off the Flashaholic channel anyway, that’s his thing. If I could concentrate more on drone footage around the farm and beamshots, I think I’d enjoy it more.

Thanks. I was pretty shocked when I got down there, the entrance on ground level didn’t suggest it was anything like this, just a few holes in the ground.
Guys, should I or shouldn’t I, add drone footage in a review? Posted a new photo on the Sofirn group and got hammered from two guys saying it’s completely useless to add drone footage since it’s a handheld flashlight. Kind of put me off 
Should I just add separate videos?
Surely people wouldn’t mind seeing a short clip at the end for some fun.
I think it’s pretty neat if you don’t mind the time spent doing it. Those guys can hammer if they like….sounds like they lean heavily toward the pragmatic/practical side of life, which is fine for them.

I think I’ve seen those same guys complaining about IPX testing of lights that aren’t dive lights and suggesting headlamps should only be operated by violent thrashing of a head.
I wonder how long it will take the Aliexpress vendors to steal that image and add it to their pool of fake flashlight beam shots.
