Sounds good to me! But then again, if yours is pink and mine is black it might be a different story!
Why is this always the argument? How many people actually prepare to be stuck in the dark for days on end! I can understand some people preparing for this kind of situation (like cavers or people who live in extreme environments), but not me.
You’re the guy that goes into old mines for a living! What are you saying? LOL! If anyone should use that argument you should.
I always expect the worse and am happy when things go well. You never know when power goes out in a large building, you get trapped in an elevator or a basement, etc... I always remember when I was in a huge lava tube on Mt Shasta and how the light from my crappy watch let me see everything. A buddy was on the Appalachian trail on a moonless night and he couldn't see his hand in front of his face. He used the Indiglo on his Timex to see the trail and get back to his car. It's those unexpected times when you want a small light that will provide just enough light and run seemingly forever.
Also, like I said...3 lumens to me is way too much light when all I need is enough to see by.
Actually, Taz, this will be (hopefully) my first light with a firefly mode like this. I know I prefer the .2 lumen mode on my SC60 over the 2 lumen. The difference is not quite as great as you’d think so I think that the .04 will definitely be good enough for seeing a few feet in front of you or checking your watch without disturbing anyone else.
